    Hi girls,
I almost went a week without visiting! OMG that's the longest I think!

Jules- your poor sister! Application are hard enough to write without having to worry about reports too! Hope she got her job. Glad AF showed up, and you can start afresh. Hopefully you'll be like Mez, Porsche & Keli are fall pretty soon, and you own't need IVF. After my polypescomy (D&C as well) I fell that next round too, so it must be the clean out! FX for you!

Mez- so nice to hear from you. I can't believ you are 16 weeks already. Gosh you'll be half way in about a minute! So glad all is well. I might check out those books too. I actually perused the Trying to conceive one in a bookshop the other day, so I might go back and get it!

Hi Keli! How's it all going?

Liz- Split shifts-what a pain! Did they up your clomid this time becasue you didn't o? I can't remember. Hopefully AF is here soon and you can begin again. Hopefully no symptoms for you!

Kris- the injections weren't as bad as I thought they'd be. But if you can avoid it, do!

Hi everyone else, hope you're all doing well, and waiting for BFP's!

AFM: Well AF has finally arrived! I'm going to start clomid on CD3 this time instead of CD5 in a hope that I o a bit earlier. I was reading a bit on late o and 'old eggs'. Since I o really late, maybe that effects the m/c? Anyone have any advice on this? I went to the GP today and got the referral to my new FS and he agreed it was time to get a second opinion. He said he would forward any test results she wanted, but he suggested that it might be best to start from scratch and get everything retested anyway. I wish my GP was my FS becasue he's so thorough, and he was so nice and caring! oh well...hopefully the new FS will be better.

Sprinkling you all liberally with Babydust!

    Hey all,

Bec - Thanks for your well wishes -I hope we don't have to go down the IVF path but I really want another baby!

In relation to your q.... I have heard that your luteal phase needs to be at least 10 days long otherwise your body does not produce enough prog to sustain a preg,so not sure if that relates to you or not? If you are oing 'late' how long until AF shows?

    Hi Ladies

Gosh Bec I wish I could stay away for a week. I can't help myself I have to check in. I'm trying to give myself a break from all this but alas I have failed miserably.

I have alwasy taken my clomid from CD2 and It hasn't made me O any sooner. The very first time I started clomid I took it from CD5 and I O'd late as well. I don't think taking it earlier in your cycle would make you O any sooner well it didn't in my case. And it's interesting what you said about "old eggs". I've never thought about that. interesting.

Thanks for your responses girls. It was only that I was doing my regular internet research and typed into google about late o. Rhi- my luteul phase is the only thing about my cycle that is normal, usually eaxctly 14 days from o.
Have a great weekend girls. I'm off the curl up with my wheatbag and hope I can avoid taking Panadeine Forte to get to sleep (painful period from the Primolut again). Maybe the nurofen will kick in soon, and I'll be right. Gosh I sound like such a sook!
Rug up my Victorian friends, it's bloody cold! Everyone else, I hope it's warmer where you are!

Bec - hopefully the nurofen kicked in and you got a good night's sleep. Yep, my FS upped clomid to 150mg this cycle as I haven't o'd yet on it. He was going to start FSH injections, but he is on annual leave at the end of June and that is when he has to monitor me, so he has put it off for this cycle. Our fingers are crossed that we won't have to do them, but in the back of my mind I think we are going to have to.

AFM - I'm still waiting for AF to arrive, but it took 10 days to arrive last cycle so it might take up to wed to arrive. I think that I did pretty well with my split shifts, I was in bed by 9pm sleeping everynight but wasn't feeling to tired and grumpy, only one week to go on them so hopefully will feel the same. Well I was a bit naughty today, I got given 2 free tickets to the Pregnancy, Babies and children expo, I was wanting to take my sis-in-law but she still isn't up to doing much (only 2 wks since her c-section). So DH braved the crowds with me and went. I got a few bits and pieces on info that I wanted, but was a little dissapointed with it though, I thought that I would get alot more on car safety, prams and stuff, but there wasn't much and most of the stalls were the same thing (sorry for the little rant). Well I better go and start dinner.

Sending lots of babydust everyone's way.

Liz: I remember you said about the FS going away now, sorry! I went to one of those once Liz, I thought it was awful. One end was a baby show and the rest were about a billion ways to spend money on things I would probably never need or use! There was some good info brochures though. I must admit I always want to go to them and I dragged DH along to one on our honeymoon! I can sympathise with you hon!

Where is everyone else? Everyone ok?

AFM: same same. CD5, started clomid CD3 this time, so still a good 15-16 days until o. No real side effects, just thsoe pesky hot flushes! There must be a few heading towards testing time? GL!
    Bye for now,

Hi all, thanks for the well wishes about my BFN. This cycle AF stayed on for about 6 days. Thats the longest on Clomid, Grrrr. Anyway, I'm off to see my Gyn/OB today about booking me in for my lap. I think it has finally hit home about it all. I am a wee bit worried about it all, I am so scared that he will find something horrible. I'm having lots of mixed emotions. Also, I have been thinking a lot about having to do IUI or IVF if the Lap comes back AOK to do so. I'm not too sure if I wanna head down that road. My excitement about it has now turned to uncertainty. I have all these questions and scenarios running around in my head. To top it all off, DH and I are maybe heading in to a BIG move in the next few months. If that's the case, i have to find another Gyno/OB/FS that will continue on our treatment from what my current OB has been doing. I quite like my current OB, I hate the thought of having to see someone else. I am also worried about falling pg and than having to do this big move and something terrible will happen because of it, IYKWIM. The place we are looking at moving to is a smaller town and the closest bigish town in 1hour 45 mins away. This worries me a little also. I really dont know what to do. I dont know whether I should put it on hold for a bit until we know where we are at or to keep on trying cause each cycle is a cycle closer to being pg.

So sorry that it was all about me this morning. I just had to get all that off of my chest. I am really confused.

    Thanks for listening/reading.

    Morning Ladies,

Just popping in to say hi to you all.

Hope, you poor thing, it’s soooo hard trying to juggle life and TTC conceive, things just always seem to get in the way. At least if your UTD when moving day arrives you wont have to help as much, he he, cheeky I know. Hope the right answer just comes to you hun and doesn’t cause you too much stress along the way.

Bec, Yey for starting Clomid again, at least you know that works for you, I’m praying for a sticky bub for you this cycle hun, you have had such a rough trot lately.

Liz, oh how very brave of you going to the expo, I haven’t been to one yet but wouldn’t dare do it when not UTD as I was so afraid I would end up a blubbering mess. Good on you, hope you found some useful information. GL on 150mg, hopefully you will O this month without too many side effects.

Porsche, how are things going with you hun? When Does IVF start? Very exciting to know that the ball is rolling now and hopefully you will have a very sticky bub very soon. KUP!

Rhi, how’s everything going with you since your lap? Has AF arrived yet? Are you on Clomid this month? GL, I have fx that the cleanout was what you needed.

Mez, Wow you must be 17weeks now, that is so exciting. Are you finding out what your having or leaving it to a surprise?

AFM, not too much to report. I’m just over 14weeks now and everything is travelling along nicely.

I have everything crossed for all you lovely ladies this month, this site needs a massive influx of BFP’s I think. I am hoping to see lots very very soon. Hope the TTC journey isn’t treating you all too unkindly & hopefully the journey will be over very soon.

    Plentiful babydust to all
    Xxoo

    Hi Ladies

Keli - It's great to see everything is progressing for you. Time certainly flies. We started sniffing synarel last night so the ball is now in motion. I'm also on Diabex/Metformin as well.

I have to sniff 1 in the am and 2 in the pm until AF decides to show (whenever that is due to no O this cycle) then its 1 in the am and 1 in the pm until CD6 and then 1 sniff and start jabbing lol. I really feel like we are doing something now. I have to ring the clinic today to get my BT results. He did a dildo cam yesterday and couldn't tell if I have O'd or not. I know I haven't so we'll see what the BT shows.

He was also talking about putting me on 100mg of clomid which I really don't want to do but again we'll see.

Porsche - You have to sniff something?? OMG! Lol! I can't help but visualise you sniffing white powder in a dodgy looking room! Lol! Sorry!

Keli - Its wonderful to hear your preg is progessing well! Congrats and i think your right, this room is due for a influx of BFPs! How cool if we all got them within weeks of each other!!

AFM - I am going to the FS/GYN on 30th June and i am nervous for some reason ... i have heard wonderful things about him, but for the past 2 years i have had doctors look down at me like im some sort of little kid crying wolf about my lack of periods and i can't help but think he is going to fob me off as well ... i know he won't cos he is the specialist lol, but yeah ... im not sure if that makes sense??

Kris - I know it can be very daunting going to the FS for the first time, especially what you have been through with docs over the last years, but I'm sure it will be all good.

Bec - glad to hear that you haven't have to many side effects. my fingers are X'd for you to have a BFP.

Hope - bighugs your way, it is all good to get it off your chest sometimes we just need to rant and let it all out. GL with your lap.

Keli - wow 14 weeks already, doesn't time fly. Are you going to find out what you are having or have a suprise for the birth? I was a bit tearish after going, but just kept thinking our time will happen soon.

Porsche - I'm with Kris on that one, what is the sniffing all about? Is it something that you have to do with the IVF process? GL with it hopefully it will only take one cycle FX for you.

AFM - Just a short one as nothing new happening as I'm still waiting for AF to start. Which I am starting to get a bit worried and anoyed again with it taking so long as this means I will have to ring up my FS and move our appointment back again if AF I don't start by the weekend.

    Babydust to everyone

my gosh you sound like a right druggie! LMAO!
So its kind of like up the nose away she goes? Lol! My husband would find that more than amusing ... he always jokes around when those nasal spray ads come on tv or the radio, i can just imagine the jokes he would come out with for that one!!

*sigh* at least he can see the funny side of all these drugs ...
i am sure you ladies would feel the same as me when i say i am so frustrated that we have to see docs/take tablets/injections/nasal sprays to have a baby! But there is nothing more we can do about it now ... just have to get up and get going ... -Vent Over- Sorry about that! I feel better now!

    Hi Ladies

With all the stuff I'm on it's a wonder I'm not off my tree lol!

Epayne - Yes the sniffing has something to do with IVF. From what was explained to me yesterday it puts me into a menopuasal type state. It clears the pituitary gland from hormones so we can start to stimulate multiple follicles.

Miss Kris - Yes exactly. It's just as if you were doing the whole decongestant nasal spray lol. But it's all for a good cause. That's not the half of it though. DH had to give a sperm sample yesterday lol He had to go off to the little room they have there and produce the boys lol. He said it sucked hehehe The room was about the size of a toilet and had a chair and a basin. Very romantic hahaha. And NO LUBE he was most upset hahahahahaha.

NO LUBE! Poor man! lol! I think i couldn't help but giggle if my man has to do that! He would be most devastated lol but they have to do that ... they don't have to get internal ultrasounds *shudder* and every other thing they stick up your hoo haa to get a better look! lol

OMG Ladies, talk about LMAO, I have spent the last 15 min’s ****ing myself laughing at you two (Porsche & Miss Kris) I am literally crying. Between discussing the fact that Porsche is now a druggy, and her man didn’t have any lube, and Miss Kris’ Hoo haa (which is a term I have not heard in years) I have thoroughly enjoyed the read, thanks ladies!

Porsche, on a more serious note, you poor thing, you truly do sound like a druggy. Reading what you have to do brings a lot of memories back for me as we were booked into start IVF in May, I remember being told all those wonderful things I was going to get to do to my body and thinking, why me? You sound like you’re coping very well hun. Your poor man not having any lube, how rude. They really do get the easy part though don’t they? Regardless of who’s bodies got the issues. So glad the ball is rolling for you, sooooooo exciting to think you could be UTD within the next few weeks, fx’ed!

Frustrated, are you still out there love? Where are you? How are you? How far along are you now? You must be so close. Please pop in and tell us all the goss.

Miss Kris, thanks so much for the laugh. How dare your GP look down at you for being young, I was 21 when we first started TTC and was almost 26 when it finally first happened, so despite the fact that you are young now it can take forever to conceive. Regardless of your age, when you’re ready to be a mum, you’re ready to be a mum. GL and I hope you get a much better response from your FS. Oh that would be wonderful to have lots of BFP’s all close to one another.

Liz, no we’re going to have a surprise at the birth for the sex of bub’s. We’ve just gotten to the place where it really doesn’t matter so why find out. I think I’m having a boy though, just for arguments sake. You’re right, your time will be just around the corner and the whole TTC journey will be in the past. Fx’ed AF shows up soon.

Hope, vent away, that’s’ what this site was created for.

Glad to hear you all have a sense of humour at the moment.

porsche i love the way you say produce the boys lol its such a man thing, my DH believes (he will kill me for putting it out into cyber space) that he has hybrid sperm with three tails LMAO he said when the time is right they will "drill the crap outta your ovaries" lol i then explained how it really works but he doesn't want to know. He is so wonderful like that, just saying and doing stupid things to make me laugh and make this whole journey not so stressful ... i am a bit of a stress head.

So glad we made you laugh Keli! I think my DH is right in keeping this light. It stops the negative thoughts coming in to plague me ... though sometimes i know ya just need a bit of down time to cry things out and feel bummed. Its what helps you get through the next little battle.
