LT TTC Two Week Wait 2010 #3

WARNING TMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gday guys I am still having lots of mucous it keeps changing at random times of the day from really really thick white paste to really really watery clear egg white mucous and lots of to the point where I have to race to the loo has anyone else experienced this either when they first got pregnant or could it be from being on a higher dose of puregon and then the pregnyl could that be doing it. It's all very weird as I didn't have it last round but was on a lower dose of puregon I was on 50iu of puregon but last round was 450iu and this round was 900iu I am starting to go nuts and it's not even the end of the first week of the tww. If anyone could possibly shed some light I'd love to think that's it all from this cycle working today day 5 of the tww I have had 1 pregnyl booster too which was monday night second and last booster will be friday night

Trueblue-I wish i could help but this is my 1st tww after a TF i have had plenty of natrual tww but i have no clue how i am supose to feel after a TF and being on crinone i was on it for 5 days last time and it gave me period type cramping which i am starting to get today.
The only thing that comes to mind is the pregnyl because when i was pregnant i had what you are describing and was constantly going to the loo to clean myself up so if the pregnyl is supose to mimic pregnancy symptoms it could be that or hopefully real pregnancy symptoms.

Oh! i forgot to ask what would be the earliest i could do a HPT seeing i had a day 3 TF on monday i would technically be 5dpo today the clinic wont do a BT until the 2nd of August that is 19 days away so 3 weeks after TF does that seem to long when a HPT should show 12-14 days after ovulation or EPU i would rather poas before BT so i don't get my hopes up.

Hi girls, well I'm back again on the TWW.

Had my first FET on Sunday. I had a BT this morning to check my Est and Prgst levels and the results are: E 958 and P 68 - the nurse confirmed these are the correct levels to ensure the lining is good. Can I read anymore into this yet? My final pregnancy BT isn't until 24th July. On my first fresh cycle I used HPT and they were wrong so I'll be avoiding them this time.
The meds I'm currently on are: Pesseries 3 times a day (rectally - fun fun fun) and Progynova 2 tabs 3 times a day.

BFP!!! BFP!!! BFP!!!

I'm in shock and can't believe it. My symptoms are sooooooo different to when I fell in Feb. I was waiting for the nurse to say BFN. Just goes to show you can't trust your instincts all the time. Honestly the symptoms I've been having could have been either PMT, Crinone side effects or BFP. Actually with all the fever I've had I thought I was getting some kind of infection.

The TWW nearly killed me again. This IVF sure is a crazy ride. I'm crossing everything that this one makes it. Lots more tests, scans and waiting yet until I am out of the woods!

I was tricked as well. I had no symptoms (the only things can be seen in hindsight so don't really count) and still don't really.

Mindhugs: aw chick woohoo woohoo woohoo congratulations it's about time we had a bfp in here.. sometimes I honetly wonder to myself if those two lines on the stick exist of if they are a myth... ohhhhhh hope you have a very very h&h 9 months hoppefully there will be a few of us to follow

Its really great to see a BFP, i've got to wait til Monday for my BT and I've had no symptoms, some mild cramping on and off, putting that down to the pessaries but am crossing my fingers for Monday.

I am pretty tired today. No symptoms as such. Actually wondering how much stress my body can take and still get a BFP. Had the biggest fight with my DS last night to the point I asked him to leave. Not that I really want him to. Well now my baby boy is moving out. Got no-one to blame but myself cause I told him too. Hoping I can get him to change his mind without backing down on my principles that the fight was about. Manners and respect.

Ferrals4 – 3 weeks is a long time. My clinic does the BTs 14 days after transfer. I called them up to asked for an earlier one, considering ovulation actually occurred 3 days prior to FET, but they wouldn’t. Instead I got a +ve POAS at day 9 after t/f of 3 day old embryos. I preferred to POAS as I wanted a heads up instead of getting results on my own when the nurse called.

Trueblue – Warning TMI!! one day into my 2nd week of my 2WW after FET (on no meds) I got a wet gush into my undies. Raced to the toilet expecting to see lots of red (yes, thinking the worse) and thank goodness it was this white mucous. What a relief. After that I would get clear and white mucous for several weeks, refused to wear a liner!! Sorry about that one, but got a bit superstitious.

Hi I am here to join you through the 2ww I had 2 Blasts transferred today. Grade 1 and Grade 2. Great start.. just need it to end in a BFP now. Fingers crossed for all of us. Using Pregnyl injections for the first time and this was our first blast cycle. BT 26/7 Monday..

wantaminime-I have a 17 yr old son to they can be stressful i actually sent him to live with his father who lives with his polish parents for a few weeks and he hated it so now he is home he is pretty good and when he gives me grief i always say you can go live with your father and eat all the lovely polish food they serve there and have a real strict curfew and he changes the attitude real quick.

Timeforafamily-Thats what i am thinking i will do i would rather know if its a BFN before the BT so i am prepaired and EPU being last friday that is 6dpo so i will go insane waiting until the 2nd of August for a BT.

Mumoncemoreplease-having blasts TF is great i wish i had gone to blast this time i got 3 blasts last cycle but we did PGD so mine was effected so i couldnt use them this time we are just doing normal IVF and i had a cyst so my follies struggled and i didnt get enough fertilised to risk going to day 5 but i did have an A grade 8 cell beautiful embie TF so i hope it is strong enough to stick and is a healthy one.

AFM-i am having period type cramping off and on i know the crinone can cause that but it still makes me wonder is it AF comming or a baby snuggling in,
DH and i have waited 2 years to get to this point we started trying naturally when i was 34 we lost our daughter last march and have struggled to get pregnant ever since and now IVF so i would love for this to work and give us a chance to move on with our lives.

Ferrals - Thanks for the kind words. I am the parent who is the strict one and I have threatened to send him to live with his father but as he is 6 foot under that is hard. Never mind. We will all survivie this I guess. I just hope the emby does.

I am just feeling the same cramping I have felt since the transfer. Was rather bad yesterday. Hoping that meant implantation. However there was no temp drop this morning. Does any one know if you still get a temp drop on the pregnyl. I really wanted to POAS on Tuesday beofre DH flies out but I was reading the instructions and it says I will get a + while using the pregnyl so really not to bother. Bugger I wanted a heads up. I will have to wait til the 22nd and my BT

wanta: yeah you can get a false + i know I wanted to cheat and do one too but yeah don't wanna get our hopes up for nothing and look at it this way it's almost the 22nd we have our last booster shot tonight so only 7 days to wait for us now I reckon the last 4 days in the tww always are the hardest and seem to take forever....
I am really excited atm as my lil sister is flying across from adelaide next weekend haven't seen her since she moved in march and my baby baby sister is moving down from darwin while her hubby goes to afghan (he's in the army) I have probably told you all this ughh just blame the hormones lol so am very excited to catch up with my sisters we actually weren't very close about 5 years back then one christmas I'd just split with a long term boyfriend, my sister the one that's now in adelaide got kicked out by her boyfriend/sort of fiance the day before chrissy and my lil sis was having a rough time and was on a break with her now hubby so we were all having a rough time we all sat on the bed crying and hugging and ever since then we've been really really close stranghe how you can feel so alien to your siblings until something happens one day and you become closer than you could ever imagine.

Hey hey hey !!! I probably probably have my first ever BFP!! :-o

I am 16dpo and was going nuts to wait until the BT next week at my clinic so I went to the GP today expecting a blood test and she just did a urine test on the spot - she said it's very accurate & rarely gets a false positive! Of course it's early days but DH is over the moon - such a huge week of highs & lows for us but WOW! The line was fairly strong so I take that as a good sign?

So wanta, I've probly been up with you for stress and it seems that's not a prob. Ferrals really really hope you both get your heart's desire after the journey you've been on to get here.

Also ferrals trublue tigergal & others who have cramps I have had mild cramps & twinges throughout. My other symptoms were killer 8 day migraine (just over that today) and really tired (but of course I never feel good when I have a migraine). Also not really nausea but just totally not hungry, forcing myself to chew kinda thing. Had to have cereal for dinner the other night. Well maybe they are pg symptoms anyway.

Mumoncemoreplease - Hoping this cycle is the ONE sounds like you've made an awesome start so far.

So glad I went to the GP. The wait is excruciating. Anyone who wants to crack it's probably better POAS there than u get at home!

I am still crampy so still totally paranoid about AF arriving. After failing for so long it's just hard to feel like things will go smoothly for us, y'know? But really astonished and thankful that we've got this far!

I'm just jumping in to find out who is floating about the TWW at the moment. I'm hoping to be here in the next week or so when we have FET #4 to hopefully have bubba #2. Scan on Monday to see how everything is going and fingers crossed will have the transfer date booked in.

To all the girls who are waiting for BT's in the next week, good luck and I know how hard the TWW can be.... It seems to take forever and ever and ever and ever...

Saraz!! That's fantastic!! Was this your second IVF Transfer? Congrats to you and DH!! Yea..first BFP mentioned since I joined 2ww..hope it's catchy!! ;)

Who is next in line for their BT. I am the 22nd. Seems so far away. Want to POAS but just know I will get a false + but it would be nice the see that the second line is not a myth. lol

My BT is a hundred years away on the 2nd i have got some pretty bad cramping tonight DH and i had sex today which was great but ever since i had an O :lol: i am cramping i hope i didnt upset my little jelly bean.

BT Monday 26th July.. Hoping will go quicker and easier being a 5dt..?? I usually test before BT but I was reading others posts about pregnyl gives a false positive??

afm: my crampy twingy feeling I have been feeling on the far right hand side has moved.. it is more central slightly off to the side from my bells button but down further could it be a glimmer of hope.?
Had last booster injection and fell asleep on couch with dh not long after lol just woke up thought i'd update and check updates glad I did woohoo (mindhugs and saraz) keep this bfp ball rolling yay!!!
I have been getting really really dry mouth in the mornings and late arvo/night time it's really weird it's like all my salvia has just dried up and I try and get as much moisture rich foods and fluids into me. Oh I don't want to do this to myself and get hopeful again but as soon as one little thing happens my mind flashes over a million different things that "could be pregnancy symptoms" lol

AFM ~ Wasnt going to track this month but had a lot of EWCM couple days ago so I decided to do MaybeBaby test (couldnt resist) and it showed I was O'ing. We'd DTD a day or so prior as well and DTD last night and night before (sorry if TMI) so hopefully we've had the right timing ;)
But for the last day or so Ive had sore nipples and this morning Im quesy and yestie I had a weird back ache. All could be because I got the flu though. But hoping we've already conceived. :crossfingers: Im at around CD20 or 21 and usually my cycles are around 34days.

Hey Loops glad you can join us i hope you get your BFP this month and don't have to go through with the ivf.
I was looking at your signature and saw your DH low count/mobility we started this cycle of ivf because after a natural conception with our daughter last year my DH morphology was really bad only 4% normal forms so getting pregnant was going to take a bit longer and we had already tried for 7 months and nothing! and would you believe it this swimmer test from our ivf came back great over 95% motility a good count and over the 15% normal forms:o that is considered normal with the world health organisation so it must have been the sperm max he has been taking and he cut out 95% of caffine.
Have you had your DH checked again i am amazed it can change so dramaticly so if this ivf doesnt work we can ttc naturally inbetween ivf cycles as you are doing.

They've never really said much about his morphology so not really sure on that but the 1st rounds of IUI we had his count was only about 8mil and around about 40% motility (I think). The last IVF/ICSI we did however, when we had successful pg they said his count was about 25million which is the norm and a good motility as well and I think that was because he'd given up smoking for a bit and we'd also been on a few herbs for a while. But because we've done ICSI they just say it doesnt matter about all that so they never really give us a good indication - which is kinda frustrating. I would be interested to see what its like now because he's been smoking again (not heaps) but we've been on the herbs and stuff for longer now and more of them from my uncle who is a naturopath.
Thats excellent with your DH hun, hope it continues. GL naturally, it'd be nice not to spend anymore money on IVF wouldnt it. And also the fact of not having to do needles etc would be good too and probably a better success rate.

Loops: where aboluts is your uncle? our naturopath is an hour and a half away and we stopped the herbs before the first round I am thinking about finding another one closer.. has he dealt with much fertility stuff?
Am crampy today it's more specified though like I can feel it more in one spot am sooo tired though and I had pumpkin soup for lunch that keeps repeating on me.

Hey True ~ He's practice is at Ferntree Gully, but I dont even see him that much, I just text him or phone him and ask for some more and he mails them out. He obviously gives us a big discount but he would still be quite reasonably priced I would imagine. We pay $60 approx for two different ones for Sam and 2 for me. Im on Chase Tree tablets and a new stronger fertility support - can't remember the name. I can text you his number if ya like. He has had success with fertility couples, sounds like a fair bit too. When I saw him a week or so ago for nans b'day he sounded pretty confident that we would get pg naturally this year.

Loops - they say it's easier to fall pregnant directly following a failed or successful pregnancy. I suppose to an extent your body is still a bit in that mode. Your symptoms are sounding good so far. The herbs will be helping. My symptoms this time are different to when I fell in Feb - prob milder so far.

Has anyone had an evaporation line on a 1st response HPT i am 9 days past EPU and 6dpt and poas this morning there is a faint line but it doesnt seem to have colour maybe a touch on the outsides of the line it seems a bit darker and you can see the line at arms length but it seems more of shadow of a line i have used 1st response before with not a even a glimpes of a line so i dont know what to think
DH can see it to i just dont want to get our hopes up for an evaporation line.

Just looked at the test again and now it has dried there is a hint of colour in it OMG! do i dare get my hopes up.

Sorry to rant i just dont know what to think i just did 2 forelife early detection HPT and got a very faint pink line on one of them and the other has a super faint line but it is pink so that make 3 test and 3 lines what do you think i am 9 days past EPU

I also did one of those crystal clear HPT that comes up with a blue cross if positive and it had a clear blue cross although faint it was there.
I think my embie has stuck.

Ferrals i think it could well be a BFP, did you however have trigger shot or boosters in your cycle? this can alter the result. i dont know why your BT is so far away, how many days were the embies when they put them back?, 2, 3 or 5?
