CAZZ - I know how you are feeling re. your SIL. My SIL & Brother came round a few weeks ago and just comes out with 'Guess What! Your'e going to be an aunty" I lost it. I didn't know they were trying as they have only been married just on 12 months and my SIL said they probably wouldn't be trying for babies for a few years (she is only 22). As soon as they told me i burst into tears and my mum had to try and calm me down. I went and saw my SIL a few days later and put on the brave face and told her how happy i was etc, but deep down i'm totally devestated. I can't even look at them. I never imagined that I would react so quickly, so be prepared. I think if they had of sat me down and said that they had something to tell me and that i might get upset, then it might have been easier, but they just threw it at me in the middle of the street. It's really hard. My mum said to me that they had been trying for a while but it wasn't happening, so they gave up and got pg, and maybe that's what we should do. I asked her how long they had been trying and she says 'oh she went off the pill in either August or September'. Hello.....thats only 2 months at the most considering she conceived in October. What a croc of sh*t.

Sorry bout that......i got carried away, but as i was saying....be prepared because your emotions will boil over before you can even respond. Well it did unexpectedly with me anyway.
