Hi Erybery, Yes I did the 21 day BT. I get the results on Thursday when I have my next FS appointment.

Whilst I am very disappoint not to be UTD I am really pleased with my cycle last month: O'd on day 15, then had a 15 day luteal phase! Almost text-book

    Yay for Clomid!

    Hi Kylie...
I'll join you.. this is my 3rd round of Clomid 25mg... I'm in the TWW as well but because my thermometer battery went flat I have no idea what day I "o"ed.. I'm assuming I did cause i had 2 days of cramping but we'll see.. Have you had many symptoms and did you find them getting worse from one cycle to the next.. i have really felt like I went from no probs first time to cycle from hell.. Well good luck and maybe we can both get our BFP's this time round..

    erybery - Congratulations, that's fantastic!!!

erybery & LSK - Thank you so much for giving us hope - everyone keeps saying 'it'll happen' but it makes you really believe it when you see it happen for people who have come from exactly where we are now

Hi Dee, thanks for joining me!

Have you had much luck with temping? I tried it but it didn't seem to work for me whereas OPK's do so I don't temp at all now.

As for symptoms and side effects, YES I suffer really bad but the wierdest thing is that Cycle 1 was o.k, Cycle 2 was hell, Cycle 3 was o.k and Cycle 4 was hell - I have an odds & evens thing happening LOL! This cycle has been hell but on the upside, it's the first time I've really felt myself O ... sure, it hurt like hell but it was nice all the same (made me feel like something was actually happening!).

Last cycle we discovered that the Clomid was eradicating my CM so this cycle we've used Robitussin & Preseed also. This cycle we discovered that my LMP is 16 days (thanks to OPK's), not 14 days as the GP said so I really do think that we're in with a chance this cycle - just a shame that it took 4 cycles to make these discoveries ugh!

It looks like we may be due for AF around the same time (I'm due 16th of Feb - 16dpo) so it would be awesome to get out of this thread together! Is this your last cycle on Clomid before IVF or are you going to keep batting on? Are you seeing a FS or monitoring yourself? Sorry,so many questions LOL

Fingers crossed for a BFP for both of us!

Hi Kylie - I have been temping only as that's what my FS wanted me to do and I have not been able to follow the directions for OPK'S like doing it same time and not drinking etc.. i found that temping showed I would "O" CD14 or 15 but this time around my thermometer battery was getting low so it was showing the same temp for about 5 days in a row and by the time I realised it was too late to see a thermal shift... I had a Lap done in Sept and my FS gave me my prescription for Clomid said take half a tablet and take your temp.. He saw me at about cd12 on my first cycle and asked me to fax him my temp chart after "O" and then rang me after that and said keep doing this for 3 cycles and if it hasn't worked after that, it won't and we'll go straight to IVF... I had scarring, a little endo and some adhesions.. I've had no scans or anything else so just BD'ing when we need to... I've not had any probs with having CM but I reckon it was EWCM about CD13 but got ceramping on CD16 which I figured was late "O"pain.. So confusing.. Guess I will just have to wait... It would be awsome to escape this thread together.. I'm due on 14th... How romantic.. Maybe it will turn out to be the best valentines ever...

LSK - Keep talkin', you're building my confidence more & more by the minute LOL! Seriously though, thanks for telling us what worked for you - it really helps!!

Dee - I'm crossing my fingers that you caught the big 'O' this cycle and don't have to proceed to IVF. I had a FS tell me the same thing about 3 cycles being the max but I know a LOT of women that fell on the 4th 5th & 6th cycles. Take me for example, it has taken 4 cycles to just work out when I 'O'

If AF arrives for me this cycle then I am having a BT on CD3 to find out what my ovarian reserves are. My GP said that if they're o.k. then he won't start pushing IVF for another 2 years. When I had my lap done they said that my ovaries were very 'plump' and that of a woman 5-6 yrs younger than me because I never O'd for so long. I will only have 6 cycles on Clomid and then go back to Met alone because fortunately for me I 'O' on Met alone.

Oh great, AF on Valentines day - let's hope it's a celebration instead! I'm due for testing on Valentine's day too but I'm in two minds as to what to do - If I get a BFN then Valentines day will be ruined ... or it could be the best Valentnes day yet! ho-hum

Like I said, I'm feeling confident this cycle but I also won't be devastated if it doesn't happen because now I know when I'm O'ing and I have the CM thing sorted, I'm keen to get cracking on another cycle ... if that makes sense?

    Hi Ladies

I have posted a couple of questions in here but there are so many things i dont know about the process and the road ahead of me. I was hoping there was someone that i could maybe have a 1 on 1 conversation on msn or yahoo so i can ask questions personally, i know when i get one answer i want to ask another question. If anyone has the patience and time to do this i would muchly appreciate it but also understand if there are no takers.

    Thanks and good luck everyone

Congrat Erybery!!!!! That is such good news.

I haven't been around here for a while. I'm onto clomid #2 now and 4 days til I can test. I think we stuffed up this cycle though. Not enough BD'ing. We were so busy and tired.

Oh well, hopefully better luck next time and I've still got 4 rounds to go.
