LTTTC Two Week Wait - May/June 2008

Sonya I'm so sorry that this was not your cycle. Big for you and that the next cycle will be the one.

Paula, I'm very well thanks for asking. Feeling some tightness in my stomach and a bit of cramping, but I think a lot of that is still from the EPU. Had my first lot of Crinone last night and can't notice any side effects as of yet, but it is early days! Other than that, I've got sore BB's from the trigger injection. I'm feeling really excited, but trying to stay realistic at the same time. We didn't know that my DH had sperm problems until we started on the IVF, so we had to go to ICSI. So I am hoping that this may have been part of the reason that we didn't fall during the OI and as such a good reason that the IVF/ICSI could work . I have to say that I feel wonderful just knowing that I have a little embie inside me... I have never been pregnant before, so this is the closest to it I have ever been.

How are you doing? You have almost got the first week down now... so it is the OWW for you!

I know exactly what you mean Janie. It is very exciting because as you said, this is the closest to being pregnant we have ever been.

I too have been well. No cramping or anything but last night when i took the crinone applicator out there was a bit or red blood on the tip. I havent had anything since but im a little worried and curious as to where that came from. Anyway, i am aiming to stay positive and i hope that my OWW (hehe) goes as fast as this one has!

Hello Ladies
Well I am offically in the tww the lady from my FS office rang and said that we had gotten a very good result on todays BT and that BF and I are forbidden from BDing as I have lots of eggs and I told her about the bleeding I have been having, it started last night and lasted until about lunch time today also it has been a very light pink and she was very excited about that said that it sounded positive so I have been told that if AF hasn't made a appearance in two weeks to have a BT checking my BHCG so I have been given strict orders to take it easy no heavy lifting and all the rest over the next two weeks.
Heres hoping and Praying good luck to all you ladies in the tww may we all get our BFPs soon

Hello All,

I am new to this. I am 1 week through my 2ww....its really hard. I dont get to test til Mon 9th June so it a 17 day wait. I had iui done last Thursday and we had a good number of good sperm...30 million put n. I am really sure it hasnt worked as I have had so many hurdles. Today I had 1000 pregnyl and will have it again on Sun and Wed. I also had a blood test and it showed low progestrone and estrogen so am doing p2e4 pessaries. Feel very sick and sad. Does anyone no if I do a HPT on the Sun before the monday (thats when the BT is really due but they said its easier to do on the Mon) it will show a real result??? I work at a Medical Centre and they said they would do a bhcg test on friday and see what it said my the FS said the reason they wait to 16days post iui is because it would still have the pregnyl in and give a fals positive. I dont think I can wait that long. Would AF come on time if it was a BFN??? I am a 25/26 day cycle so I am due for AF on Tues/Wed next week.

Sorry to ask all these questions on my first post but I am really confused with this process.

Karly we will be testing only a few days apart. Why are they making you wait till the 9th? At least you work in a medical centre and you can get tested there too. Best of luck and i hope the next week goes past quickly for you too
