    Hi

This is the first time i have used this website. i was reading through the TTC section as my husband and i were trying for 2 years and finally worked.

Kristie, was on Metformin i must say i do not remember having any side effects or discharge. But then again it did not work for me. i found my DR was not that good.
The best thing i suggest is to contact your Dr and ask Him/Her. The quesy in the stomach i must say i had very offen during the TTC process. I also noticed you and your husband are very young. i was only 22 when we were trying and DH 24 i also found DR did not really care much as i was still young.

Hi everyone..... took my last clomid tab for this cycle, which could be my last....FS is on holidays!!!! So I have to wait for him to get back to decide my fate........Like October!!!!! I turn 39 on thursday and am starting to feel like an old bat already.....it's not funny.....At least I'm not in the TWW yet so I can have a few champers......

Leasha0986 I used to get dizziness the first 2 months of clomid then it stopped, I never fell over or anything, but you do start to feel a little bit weird to say the least....

Lismith25 The exercise machine is on it's way, and the champagne is a chillin......

    Hi All
I have just done my first cycle using Clomid 50mg, and have just got the results of my Progesterone levels blood test on CD 21, and the results were 26.3. I have to wait to get in and see my FS but I was wondering does anyone know if these levels are good, or not?? This cycle I didn't feel any different to any of my other cycles except that I didn't get much CM (sorry if this was TMI), so I am curious if anyone can give me any advice.

    Hello all,
Just joined you guys (for #2). I'm waiting for AF to start (just finished provera) and will be on clomid soon due to pcos. Waiting for yesterday's BT to come back...anyways, I'll be lurking around here from now on, so yes, hello all.

ETA: BT back and it was low estrogen (sp?) levels. I've been told to stop b'feeding () and when I get my first natural AF to go back for more BT's.

Yep we're out, kim got AF today.... So we are now on a TTC break for 3 months due to our overseas holiday to Malta in June next year...in the meantime i think we'll look into a laparoscopy for Kim as i suspect some endometriosis...she has god awful period pains every month, as well as back pain, nausea, pain shooting down the legs for 4 days or more... Good luck to everyone else on the TWW!!

Hi ladies, mind if I join in?!! I started my first round of clomid this month, 50mg Days 3-7. I usually know my body fairly well, but this month it's game on as I have no idea if I've O'd or not! Frustrating. Anyone else found they had mixed body signs while on clomid? Anyway, we are TTC#2 and have been since 2005.

Princesspea and Twomums - so sorry to hear that the witch found you this month. Best of luck for this coming cycle. Twomums - enjoy your TTC break!

Racey - I had an O level of 26 last cycle and my FS put me on clomid to help strengthen my O as he said that level indicated O but not all that strongely. Your FS might up your dose of clomid for next cycle.

Lisa - congratulations on your BFP!!

Anyway ladies, hope to get to know you all very soon and look forward to sharing many BFPs with you all in the weeks/months to come

    Hi ladies,

Not much happening with me, but just thought I'd drop in and say hi. AF should be due sometime from this weekend. Haven't got high hopes for a BFP, but then again I guess you never do know!

    Principessa
    - fingers crossed clomid treats you kind this month and you O earlier than you did last month. I have heard it's common for your cycles to get shorter each progressive clomid cycle. At least you are getting BT tracking. I have found it so frustrating not knowing what my body is doing while on clomid, lots of confused body signs!! FS isn't tracking us. But I might ask for some tracking by our third cycle if we still aren't pregnant. OMG, I suddenly feel really sick!! A wave of nausea hit me as I was typing. Food poisoning or could it be..........feel like I'm going to hurl!! I didn't get MS with DS, so this is a new thing for me. I'll blame the clomid for now....

Just a question if anybody knows about spotting before period.....When my periods came back after having my one and only child I started spotting up to a week before my period, this has never happened my entire life.....the doctors and FS reckon this is OK/normal.....I've been trying to get pregnant for a year and a half with no luck, I've just done 4 months of clomid and this didn't change anything either........does anyone have any info on the spotting thing....because it seems to be the biggest mystery ever........

Good morning! Hope you don't mind if I join in? I just signed up for this group and have been dealing with our struggles alone. I'm on my third month of chlomid. 1st month 50mg chlomid and 2nd & 3rd month 100mg chlomid. I am 8 dpo and waiting for my progesterone levels . My last levels were 12.4, is this good or bad?

Hi all.... well 2 BFN's so far... on 25mg... he's decided my rise is too slow, progesteone too low, and put me on 50mg CD2-6... I'm really worried about OHSS, since I ovulated quite well on 25mg... But as yet, no symptoms except a hot flush abou an hour after I take the Clomid. Which is fine, I can deal with that lol!

Hopefull: I've heard that progesterone levels should be above 10-15ng/ml in the luteal phase. So you've probably been put on a higher Clomid dose to help the levels and the rise (I think thats why I have).

    Hi All

MUM2JADEN have you had any investigations into the spotting, like a Hy Co Sy or Hysteroscopy. One Ultrasonogher I had one time when I was having an Ultrasound, asked me if I had spotting before I had my AF and he said sometimes things like fibriods can cause this to happen. If you haven't had any investigations I would probably start asking for some.

Hi Twinkie. I have just done my second round of Clomid and I didn't get any signs of ovulation like I did when I wasn't taking the Clomid. But as you answered me earlier my Progesterone BT results were 26 and he said that I did O but not very strongly. So who knows what this Clomid will do but hopefully you will get your BFP soon.

    Hi Everyone,

Glad to see that the thread has kicked off again. I know I've been MIA for a while but I've just been going quietly and keeping my head down as I got a BFP on 16th Oct.

So the details.....I was 17DPO when I got the BFP. I was sure AF was coming as I had light cramps (no other pg symptoms) and got a BFN at 15DPO. This was my 2nd round of clomid: 50mg cd2-6 then 50mg cd10-12 then HCG trigger on CD15.

So I'm 6weeks 2days pg today (too nervous to put a ticker on ). Just now trying to get through the :ms: and waiting for that first U/S.

Sryan, Muggins, Emmalina - Good luck with your Clomid journeys - I hope they're short and sweet. My only realy symptom on Clomid was the wicked hot flushes that usually happened in the middle of the night! Good luck to those of you in the TWW.

Alisia - Good luck with the next round. Sorry its not been smooth sailing with the O induction but I'm sure your FS will have it all worked out soon. My FS told me its really common to have the Clomid work one cycle and not the next.

TwoMums - Enjoy the rest of your TTC break. I hope the new year brings a for you!

Sending you all heaps of I'll be keeping an eye on this thread and look forward to heaps more BFPs really soon!

    Hi Emmalina,

Yep, its true - BFN at 15DPO and BFP at 17DPO. I was expecting AF on 15DPO based on my previous Clomid cycle.

At 15DPO I tested using Pregnow with FMU. Pregnow are supposed to be 10miu - about the most sensitive you can get. Then at 17DPO I tested using First Response Early Pregnancy Test. The BFP at 17DPO was quite dark - if I'd used the First Response at 15DPO I think I could possibly have gotten a very faint BFP (even though its supposed to be less sensitive than the Pregnow).

As long as AF doesn't show there's hope - even if you have cramps and other AF symptoms. (I was sure AF was coming)

Don't give up! I've got my for you!

    Hello everyone,

Would you mind if i join in here? I am on my second cycle of clomid. Last cycle i had side effects for the whole month (nausea and headaches) but so far this month im feeling great. Only CD10 tho, so hopefully its doing something.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between clomid and metformin?? I had never heard of metformin until i read some of this thread...

I look forward to speaking to you all and sharing this crazy journey with you!

Just popping in to answer a question, don't really belong here any more.

Metformin is a drug used to treat PCOS, it helps to reduce the insulin resistance that results in PCOS. For some women, merely taking metformin is enough to fix up a wonky cycle and get ovulation happening.

Clomid is the lext line of attack in PCOS - it attempts to force the body to ovulate by other means.

I guess both are put together because the majority of women on clomid have PCOS, but through the time I've spent watching and participating in this thread, I've encountered many, many women who have used clomid to correct an ovulation problem that do not have PCOS.

    Wandering away again now...

Welcome to the thread Hopefull, i must say that we've never had a progesterone level done after any of our IUI's... i think with the ultrasounds and HCG trigger shot we get its not so important, do you guys track ovulation by ultrasound or bloods before ovulation? Do you trigger with HCG to ensure you ovulate?

Just updating that AF found me and I'm onto round two of clomid today. I'm glad to be on my second round, to tell you the truth, as at least now I know how my body reacts to the clomid! Best of luck to those testing soon!
