Hey Willow,
I'm booked in next thursday for a laparoscopy, cyst removal dye studies and tubal flush. This is my 3rd one. My first one was easy and my last one was a nightmare. So i'm also terrified..Or rather dreading it!! My last one i was home on the same day but had bad pain;like worlds worst ever period-for about 5 days. but the pain with weeing was absolutely earth shattering. I'm not sure if they scraped me somewhere on the way out(TMI),but its a pain i'll never forget. The burning. I was on ural for a few days after,it helped.I also had the bad diaghram pain. Like youve been kicked in the chest and stepped on. I was in bed for about 2 days. No pain at any of the procedure sites. This time i have taken time of work. Anticipating the worst. Just hope that its easy this time as mum is going in for major surgery that same week and i need to be well enough to travel to the austin to see her. From memory last time sitting was very uncomfortable for a few days.Which wont be practical, but fingers crossed. i'll make sure to drop you a note after i've had it done. Part of me says though-does it really matter how bad it is?I havent got a choice. i cant ignore ovarian cysts, you remove them or they burst,so wimping out for me isnt an option. UNFORTUNATELY... The doctor also believes i have pcos as weve been trying for 8 months and the doctor believes all my symptoms point him in that direction. Anyway i'll let you know more when i do;and keep me posted on how you are going?
