Thanks guys, but ahhhh I'm allergic to morphine!! We discovered this on one of my many visits to the emergency dept while I had the other cyst (caused serious pain but we couldn't remove it because I was prg) and I never want to experience that again.
Last time I had some Indocid suppositories up the wazoo which helped a lot. They gave me some other pain relief in my drip when I was in recovery, I don't know what it was but it helped too. Nothing helped the pain from the gas being trapped in there though. That was terrible. It was a delightful experience all round LOL!!
**ETA: I forgot to mention the stitches - I had dissolvable stitches that didn't dissolve. I don't know if it's just the way my body reacts to them because the same thing happened when I had my wisdom teeth removed. 4 weeks later (and after 2 trips to my gp) I ended up cutting them out myself because they were getting really, really sore and ugly. The one at my belly button had started to grow out through my skin and was rubbing on my clothes - OUCH! Anyway, as a result my scars are pretty bad. This time I will be asking them to either use glue and internal stitches or just normal stitches and I'll go back and get them taken out.
