Willow, I'm sure you will be fine with your lap. I have to confess that I didn't have any problems thank goodness - I was so lucky. I entered the hospital doors at 9.00am and was at home with a cup of tea by 2.30pm. No incision or abdominal pain. The gas me a bit of shoulder pain for a couple of days. I wouldn't say it hurt, more uncomfortable. I was back to my normal routine the following day and completely back to normal by Thursday (had it done Monday). I guess I am just lucky. Also, just because you had pain or whatever with one lap doesn't mean you will have the next time. Just as for me, although I had an easy time this time doesn't mean I would if I had to have another one. Also, I haven't had any cysts.
