I'm so sorry, Princess. I just don't know what to say. I know just how much you wanted that little bubba, and early loss or not, that's just gotta rip your heart right out!

I'm really not enjoying the clomid! Even if I can explain away my symptoms with other things... The lack of sleep on Thursday night (clomid or just really wound up and excited?), the headache all day Friday (clomid or lack of sleep?), another night of bad sleep (clomid or just too hot?) the dreadful hot flush that came over me at acupuncture - I was absolutely running with sweat! (clomid, or was it just really hot in the treatment room?). Three more tablets and it's over! I'm really glad I went 2-6 instead of 5-9. Better to be going through this over holidays and not in the early stages of the term.

to everyone. I hope you have somewhere nice and cool to spend the day.

Hi guys. Just wanted to pop in and see how everyone is going. I am egerly awaiting my appointment on Tuesday morning. I am really hoping that there is a good follie there and I can get my usual Pregnyl injection because I am going to SA on Friday and we need to DTD at least a few times before I go.

Princess I am so sorry. We are all sending you great big cyber hugs and kisses right now.

Michelle and Deb congrats on your test results. Well done to both of you.

    Hope everyone else is well.

BW - headache, insomnia and the WORST hot flushes were all things I had on clomid. The headaches weren't so bad second cycle and I started taking the tablets at 9-10pm to settle the other symptoms. for good things.

Princess - :hugs: No words will make this better but know that we are here to support you. Be kind to yourself and do something special if you can.

I've been taking the tablets basically last thing before bed... Unfortunately, I'm thinking with the insomnia, morning might be better for me... Please tell me the headaches and insomnia go away after the five days? It's still hard to tell if the headaches are from the clomid or the lack of sleep... all I can say is that I'm really, really not enjoying this!

The insomnia and headaches usually settle but I found I continued to have hot flushes. I found I had nausea when I took them through the day and it was harder to manage at work than the disrupted sleep. The good news is the first cycle is usually the worst symptom wise.

The better news will be either a BFP or a *normal* length cycle for you with an effective ovulation.

I slept! I actually slept! I guess the last two nights of insomnia were due to the excitement and the heat... even though it was still pretty warm last night, I actually slept! I really hope that with cooler weather today I'll be able to cope with the hot flushes a little better. Yesterday I wasn't going to do another clomid cycle until after DH has been fixed... today, I'm feeling a little better about the clomid, but I still think there's something to be said for holding off until the doctors have fixed up DH.

    Hope everyone is well.

Hi Girls. Sorry i've been a bit scarce around here this week, have been trying to take a bit of a step back cause you know what they say, if you can't say something positive, don't say anything at all....

Just wanted to let you know I'm out this month. Again. Spotting started today, 11dpo.

I think it's safe to say at this point that clomid isn't going to do the trick for me. If it were actually doing 'something' I'd be a bit more positive but it isn't even correcting my cycle length, prog. levels, spotting or short LP. It's not doing anything.

I'm off to my gyno on Tuesday and to a FS at IVF Australia on Thursday (how glad am I that I made that appt last month???). Am very keen to hear what he has to say and hopefully to move onto the next step. I think I'm heading for serious intervention faster than I ever thought possible.

I am seriously stressed about getting my DH's sperm results back on Tuesday. Considering we've conceived very easily in the past there is no indication that there will be bad news but it just seems like every time we start looking the news is ALL bad.

BW, the side effects definately improve. I had headaches, nausea and insomnia (although not really bad) first cycle, this cycle I had nothing at all (but maybe that's cause it's not doing what it's supposed to for me!). I also wanted to tell you that I've realised my younger brother has a varicocele. I had no what it was at the time, but have since worked out from what he's told me and from your posts that that's what it was. He was told he'd have a lot of difficulty if he wanted to have children. Well he's still got the varicocele, along with an 8 month old baby girl who was a big surprise to her mummy and daddy! So I think there is immense hope for you my girl!!

Thanks for that positive story, Willow. We'll be going at it like blazes when AF leaves! I'm still seriously tempted to maybe take a break from the clomid and wait until DH has seen the specialist. The one thing I think is odd... as soon as a bloke gets a bad sperm analysis, he's sent off to change to boxers or some other loose form of underwear, but it appears with the varicocele that supportive underwear is the way to go.

I'm really sorry that the clomid doesn't appear to be working, but please don't hide from us when things are bad. We're here to share both the good and the bad, and just as we can rejoice together with the good, we also support each other through the bad. Please don't bottle it up - I've learned that just results in messy explosions!

Bit of a rough day for me... found out a friend is pregnant... in the middle of a crowded park with no pre-warning... I'm hating what the clomid is doing to my reactions - I feel like I have no control over my emotions - yet it's still not as bad as provera!

Question for those who have temped on clomid - do the sky high temperatures subside after the clomid is finished and before ovulation? I'm just a little worried that if they don't I'm going to end up cooking myself with my post-O temperatures!

I've got no idea about temps on clomid BW. I was too much of a nut case WITHOUT adding to it by trying to take temps (and make sense of them) on shift work

for finding out about your friends pregnancy. DH was told about close friends of ours being pregnant (less than 6 months after Caitlyn's birth) at work ... and was expected to be happy about it!!!!!

Willow - don't run away. We can handle anything you want to throw at us. But I also understand the need to withdraw occasionally and focus on yourself.

Went and lit some candles today. It was cloudy (and now raining) so I know Caitlyn is around. She was born on a Tuesday where it was cloudy and stormed around the time of her birth. For the following 6 months after her birth every Tuesday was cloudy / grey or raining. My Tuesday's have got sunnier since then

    Hi everyone.

Megan, sorry I can't help you with your query about gynos in Brisbane...I'm in Vic.
Congrats to Michelle and Deb. Wonderful news.
Princess, very sorry to hear of your news....hugs to you.
Willow, I feel so badly for you. One tends to put their faith into medical intervention, and then when it doesn't work and answers aren't forthcoming...well, it's a bit of a kick in the guts. Big hugs to you.
BW, I have been temping with clomid (check out my FF chart), but I haven't had really high temps tho. Maybe you're just HOT STUFF!! LOL.

Well, we did manage to squeeze in an afternoon delight the other day, which was damn lucky, because I kept getting strong lines on OPKs (WTF?). We had a break yesterday and was supposed to go again today, but DH has been on the tractor for almost 48 hours straight and he was just about falling asleep in his dinner tonight. So we missed tonight. Mind you, my OPK today was a definate negative, and after all the strong lines I have been getting, I am wondering if we will even bother keeping to the schedule now?? What do you think? Surely, an egg can't be viable now?????

Ugh! Sometimes computers can be most uncooperative!

After another good night's sleep last night I think we can quite conclusively put my two nights of no sleep down to excitement and heat and NOT clomid! yay! I'm still finding the hot flushes a bit uncomfortable, they seem to be worst between 3 and 4 in the afternoon, which seems a bit weird, but at least they don't seem to be coming on at all random times.

I just wish AF would pack her bags and clear off so we can get this BD schedule started! Has anyone ever found they got lots of clomid side effects and then have it NOT make them ovulate? Something I'm very stressed about there...

    Hi all,
I just wanted to pop in and say and let you know that I'm thinking of you.
This ttc on clomid thing can be tough can't it. I've been taking it since May and have been lucky to have ovulated each month and my cycles are more regular. I had to miss last month due to an op to drain a cyst, so I'm on day 39 and no sign of af and am to scared to take a preg test atm. I would much prefer to see af than a bfn iykwim.
