    Hi Michelle,I normally coat the veal in flour,then egg and breadcrumbs and pan fry it .If u like you can also add parmesan cheese to the crumbs to give it a bit of zing.Then serve with some yummy veges.Also if you have any pasta sauce place that on top of the veal once its cooked with grated cheese and pop under the grill until the cheese is melted.Yum I'm hungry just typing about it...

    I guess you could but I've never tried it.It may take longer to cook in the oven and you may have to spray the veal with oil so the crumbs go a nice golden colour.

    Yum yum yum - veal is my favourite meat. Veal schnitzel is a fave. You could cook schnitel as you like then top with pasta sauce and cheese - veal parmagiana.
    Another is cook the veal, set aside, fry some chopped onion, add some sundried tomato pesto, some white wine, a bit of low fat cream, return veal to pan with some cooked baby potatoes, cook until heated through and serve with some greens - yum yum.

    OR

    ITALIAN VEAL

    Ingredients
    * 3 teaspoons oil
    * 4 halved veal schnitzels
    * 1 chopped onion
    * 2 crushed garlic cloves
    * 250g sliced mushrooms
    * 1 chopped zucchini
    * 1 chopped red capsicum
    * 1/2 small chopped eggplant
    * 1/2 cup dry white wine
    * 550g jar Dolmio Traditional Tomato Spaghetti Sauce
    * 3/4 cup chopped canned artichoke hearts
    * Linguine to serve

    Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a large non-stick frying pan. Cook 4 halved veal schnitzels, in batches, until browned. Remove from pan. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in same pan. Cook 1 chopped onion, 2 crushed garlic cloves, 250g sliced mushrooms, 1 chopped zucchini, 1 chopped red capsicum and 1/2 small chopped eggplant. Add 1/2 cup dry white wine and bring to boil. Stir in 550g jar Dolmio Traditional Tomato Spaghetti Sauce and 3/4 cup chopped canned artichoke hearts. Bring to boil. Add veal and simmer 2 minutes or until veal is heated through. Serve with Linguine.

    OR

    CREAMY VEAL STRIPS

    2 spring onions, cut into strips

    1 cup sliced mushrooms
    1 cup skim milk
    1 tbspn cornflour
    ½ teaspoon oregano
    1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped

    ~ Coat a pan with cooking spray
    ~ Stir-fry the veal till lightly brown, remove from pan
    ~ Recoat pan, add the onions, mustard and mushrooms and combine and cook for about a minute
    ~ Combine the milk and cornflour in a cup, then pour into the pan, stirring till it boils and thickens
    ~ Add the veal back in, and the herbs and stir well to heat through
    ~ Serve………

    I have another veal recipie also but too tired to get it out at the moment - let me know if you want it.

    Fry in oil in pan.
    Take out, Put veal steaks into an oven baking dish.
    Cover with thickened cream.
    Bake in over 180 degrees - for abt one hour.

    Argh help!!!

    Back, I don't know, 10 years ago... Mum used to order Veal Scallopini with Garlic Sauce from La Porchetta... The garlic sauce was TDF and I am desperate to make it. I can't get onto my mum and need to get dinner on soon.

    If I were to just brown some onion, garlic and then add cream and simmer until it reduces, would that work? I was then going to cover the veal and pop in the oven until DF gets home
