From how I understand it, there are sonly so many of each vitamin that your body can absorb. But when your pregnant, your body should be servig the babys needs forst - i.e. the aby gets the vitamins foirst and you get the leftovers, so when you increase levels, some of the increased amount will be for the baby, and some will be to maintain what you as the mum need as well.

Just stick Little Bubba!!
... they are doing studies on higher risk mums... giving them 4mg instead of .4mg......... No results yet but!!
