Belinda, please try not to worry. The test can be affected by your diet over the days before the test so most often a high result is nothing to worry about. The 2 hr test gives a much better indication, which is why they do that before diagnosing anything. Eat plenty of carbs for the 3 days before the test and then you should get an accurate result. I only had the 2hr test both pgs (my ob does this routinely) and first pg I was one point off the upper limit of normal (ie one point higher indicates GD) and second pg I was totally normal. The first time I didn't know about the carb diet, so I put it down to that. Please don't worry, more than likely everything is fine. Also, even if it is high, most times diet can control it and there are no ongoing issues. Big hugs hun.
