just so exhausted, emotionally drained. I dont know if i should go and pick up DD from school at the end of the day or just let her go to afterschool care and wait for the call. I will feel terribl if its bad news and o breakdown with her here, DF wont be home till 7....

holly - if the test is ok i will ask what the sex is - all i want is a healthy bub so if they tell me its healthy i guess there's no harm in knowing!

If you are worried about breaking down in front of daughter let her go to after school care so you have some head space for you, or get someone to be with you this arvo when you are expecting phone call.

Kitt3n, I am sure bub is perfect in every way! The tests will come back clear and they will even tell you something better than you expect. Will you find out the unit's sex?

Now I dont want to sound negative but IF, and only IF, the resuts come back that bub is DS, what would you do? use it as preparation, or abort? I will have NT next time and will use it as preparation, but I totally understand the feelings that come with it. Have you ever heard the poem about Holland?

If the tests come back certain we will abort. breaks my heart - please dont anyone be angry at me for this, i just couldnt bring a little one into the world if i knew one day they wouldnt be able to take care of themself, after i am gone.............. i guess that makes this wait even harder.

I wish we could have paid even extra to have the results sooner!
