fromscratch, I dont even know what to say except I know your absolute terror. Im the only girl who hasnt had another bub in our group and think I would love one but 'cant' (actually may not actually be possible either lol). I am so sorry that you have been dealth that hand and I do have everything crossed for you to have a HG FREE pregnancy
Hi girls,
I've been in a bit of a spin with all the worry and excitement.
I have a bfp! Woo hoo!
Recieved conformation from Dr yesterday. EDC 20/05/12.
Very early(about 4 weeks), very excited. If I have regular ms I'll be thrilled. Dh is already thinking about bringing in his swag "just in case" cause last time on a regular mattress I got sea sick with sharing the bed. Tee hee!
Still worried about HG but asked for a script for Maxalon siting previous two pregnancys and HG Dr gave me script and I walked out a happy camper.
I'm not sure who it was on this thread who said early maxalon was helping but thanks I remembered and asked. Joy of Joys the doc gave it to me willingly and made another app for me for three weeks she wants to put me on something else if hg shows up again. Same GP as last time. Looking forward to booking midwife.
Hi Ladies,
Firstly im new so havent quite got the hang of the 'slang' used here
I am in awe of you ladies that have gone back for more children after suffering from hyperemesis - Truly Amazing
Ive been looking for a group like this since having my son. He is 14 months old and i suffered terribly with hyperemesis. I was admitted into hospital would stay 3 or more days, go home for 2 or 3 days and back to hospital id go. It was horrible. It lasted until about 5 months and then i had m/s and a few bad days but nothng compared to the first few months. I along with you all had never heard of anything like it before. My sister in law had just had my neice when i fell pregnant and had a few bouts of morning sickness which we all felt sorry for her if only i knew...
Anyway I would love to have some ladies i can liaise with as hubby and i are discussing number 2 I never ever thought i would even consider but here i am
I worry about not being able to take care of my son! I remember when i was pregnant with him i did nothing but lay in bed and travel to and from the hospital for the first 5 months My son is my everything and i dont have any family although i have my husbands family... They have their own young familys and all work...Hubby works 7 days a week, usually 12 hours a day.
So my question is how did you cope with number 2 and having hyperemesis....
IS there a chance i may not get it again with the next??
7 weeks and really feeling sorry for myself.
The maxalon is no longer working. Just have to hang in there one more day. Have app. with OB Friday.
Not sure if you know about this site but it is dedicated to HG research. I'm not going to link it as there is a Forum although the site is mostly about HG knoweladge. Help HER - Hyperemesis Education Research.
