Iv`e just gone 12 months post-op, unfortunately no luck yet but my GP keeps telling me not to worry its early days yet. Healing for me after the op took longer than expected, the wound didn`t heal untill about 7 weeks after the op. I had to fly from Melbourne to Kununurra (which is about 5 hours) a week after the op then a couple of days later my DH`s work had a 4x4 driving trip which I must say was a bit rough, so all this probably didn`t help that much. Then all the stress of trying to get pg only makes things harder.
I can tell you the more you obsess the less likely you are to fall. (It has taken me this long to realise though) The op does play havoc with your body, up untill the last 2 months af has been all over the place.
I am heading back to the Royal Womens on Aug 24 to have the dye put through to make sure all is still in working order, I`m nervous but excited at the same time. At least I will know what is happening in there.
