Thanks. I am so scared of a 3rd m/c too. Yes I will insist on testing. It must have been so difficult for you to be told she was perfectly healthy. Makes you feel like your body betrayed you. Thats how I feel and I dont even know why I m/c'd. Did they tell you she was a girl from the testing? Im not sure if I want to know the sex, yet at the same time it would be good to know for my piece of mind.
DG- Yep, they did tell me, but i already knew, the pg was just so different to my sons. It is good to know DG, because then you can name them if you want to....and i don't know, it just helps i think, it helped me anyway.
I had so many tests done, all came back normal, the only thing i had was low progesterone, which is very well the cause of my m/c. My levels this time seem fine though, and im on hormone treatment (progesterone pessaries) so i'll let you know how that goes.
In a way our body does betray us when we m/c, and it's bloody hard and painful. Im glad your insisting on testing, i regret that i didn't. I get that some ppl have 1 m/c, i get that it could have had defects or whatever.....but when you have more than 1 in a row....i just think somethings not right.
Hun, there's a thread which has list of tests for recurrent m/c in the Recurrent m/c late loss forum.....I would do a link but i don't know how
xx
Oh DG I'm so very sorry for such a huge loss. Your tiny little baby. I really am sad for you I've been following your journey and was so happy to see your ticker only a week ago.....and then to read this today, just makes me very sad for you - sorry hun xxx
