I am so sorry for your loss.

I suffered a missed miscarriage between my two DSs. I thought I was 11 weeks but my baby had died at around 8 weeks. I elected for a D&C the next day. I was asleep for the procedure but suffered no physical ill effects. For me, not knowing when my body would mc naturally was an awful feeling and I just wanted it to be over so I could grieve by baby. After such a long time deceased in utereo I don't thing my baby would have looked much like a baby.
