If you ever get a HB pattern, you can easily adjust it so the crotch is trimmer. You'll need to re-draw the bits in between the elastic points but that's not too hard. I've started sewing my crotches about 2'' trimmer (so 1'' off each side) which makes a big difference! I need to trim down the hidden soaker when I do this too.
