I have a Chicco Polly in Ruby and love it! It's funky, very functional, super comfy, easy to use and safe. DD is quite the climber and managed to get out if the straps in the Ikea chair in no time - I found her standing up in my friends Ikea chair not long after we'd bought our Chicco so I was VERY happy with our purchase then!!

Sure, food does get caught in the seams a little but nothing a wipe down won't fix and I give mine a vacuum every time the vacuum comes out (a lot with a child ) and that well and truly does the job.

The straps on mine (5 point safety harness) are light grey so yes, a bit grotty now but it's fine and I can remove them to throw them in the wash. Black straps would definitely be better though.

I love the double padded seat which grows with your child - the insert can be removed when the get to big for the first layer. The recline is great for all ages (can use it from a young age to simply wheel a LO round the house with you and keep them at your level). I love having wheels - so easy to move it around. It's height adjustable with the push of a button. It folds for easy storage but honestly, you don't store a highchair often once solids start The tray comes totally off and the arm rests fold (if required) so it can fit at/under most dinning tables as a 'normal' chair

I can see why others love the Ikea chair but I wouldn't trade our Polly, it's brilliant.
