WE've bought an Angelcare sound and movement baby monitor.
DH has set it up and its charged etc, ready to go.
Do I just turn it on when I put DS in teh cot, and turn it off when I take him out?
ANd have the parent monitor out of the room?
Or is there more to it?
Did you have any false alarms, and has anyone had to adjust the sensitivity of the pads from the default/standard?
Im worried Im going to put him down, turn it on and have it start alarming as he goes to sleep

Test it before you put him in- turn it on and leave it for the 10 seconds to see if it beeps. Once it does, put your hand on the mattress firmly, but not pushing in. if it stops beeping, you're right to go

Good idea to check the alarm WILL activate if on an there is no movement.
