For me - it is the best investment I made It is lightweight so I can lift it easily on my own, easy to set up and put down (with some initial practice) and it fits into the back of a Barina even with the bassinette. It is also incredibly manoueverable which is an advantage in the city and able to be taken off road on walking tracks too.

I understand people may think it is prestige but considering the amount some spend on multiple prams trying to find the right one it was well worth the cost to find the pram we find most useful for our needs.

we have a bugaboo gecko and have had no regrets.

as the others who have one have mentioned, it is light, can turn on a pin and is narrow enough to fit where other prams dont. today for example i went with a friend for coffee and her mountain buggy couldn't get through the narrow door, while the bugaboo had room to spare! living in melbourne with it's poky stores narrowness is a big seller for me!

it folds up really easily and the bassinette and seat can sit on the frame in the boot.

also it is really durable we have travelled all over with it, through sand and snow and rough tracks in national parks, on planes, trains and trams without a hitch.

and the seat is not at all uncomfy for the bubs (DD would certainly let me know LOL!). she can sleep hours in the seat (and does!). i also really like that bubs can face you or can sit looking out...

    worth every penny IMO.

my only wish is that they made a double....

    OMG, me too!

I love my Bug. DS is 4 months old and still in the bassinette attachment, he sleeps beautifully in there and loves it.

The Peg Perego Primmo Viaggio car seat is at Babies Galore but it says "coming soon" on their website. I can't wait to buy one as it attaches to the Bugaboo!! :woot:

Puppies, I was like you and went to check out the Bug but wasn't that taken by it and as soon as I saw the SC strider4 I knew it was the one so bought it straight away. I haven't had my baby yet, so can't comment on what it's like with a little person in it, but I am wheeling it around the house and playing around with it and just love it.
I was definately taken by the storage underneath too.

another question for all you bug owners, how do they handle off road? (not just rough concrete)
I want a dual purpose pram which can be used in varying terrain, but at the same time isn't to big?

do you think the bug fits the bill?

    thanks

    Sako,

We have the BugAboo frog and theres only one thing I can say about them.

"I will never regret the decision to invest in the bug"

I think that speaks for itself.
