Just want to wish Mako all the best for your appointment today. Thinking of you.
Michelle - Glad to hear you had so much love and support around you yesterday.. we were thinking of you.
Deb - Hugs... yesterday must of been hard but I'm glad your other gorgeous children were good to you!
Our day was much like a normal day too.. DH had to fly back to Perth in the morning, so we didn't really do anything. Now just looking forward to my scan on Wednesday.
Just popping into to say a late Happy Mother's Day to all.
Mako - Goodl luck
Michelle/Deb - I am sorry both you of have had hard MD's. Big hugs to both of you.
You know I was grounded and humbled after reading a blog about a mum who has had 4 last losses and no baby to hold in her arms on Mother's Day. I am truly grateful for the 3 little gifts that I have been given.

: Taking out a line
Thanks to you all for your good wishes today.
I have been to talk to my Ob about everything and have come away feeling a little lost still. I wish we had straight answers and a very clear path of what we should do but unfortunately its not the case.
She did some testing from my D&C and that result showed that there was something wrong with the placenta. Not quite sure what but she said absolutely nothing would have changed that outcome I asked her about Clexane and she said that she would consider that next time but we need to test for something to see if its a positive or negative thing whatever it is(Sorry I'm not up on all the proper names for everything and I was by myself so can't ask DH what it was exactly). Anyway long story short....start Metformin and Folate tonight and see what happens over the next few months.I can start Clomid if I want too anytime after next AF. I'm not too sure what to do there. I go back in August. DH asked how my appointment went when he came home but never said anything and has now gone out for a few hours. Hopefully we'll talk about things once he gets home and Sage is in bed.
So girls not much to really report except I'm NOT going to give up on my dream of having another baby one day.
Sorry for the "me" post but I'm trying to get Sage to eat some dinner and its not going so well lol.
Belated Mummies Day from me too - my two older ones came good and did some nice things for me, with my main pressie being a new tool kit lol.... pink one at that.
Another strange thing happened on Sunday morning - my GP called me at home to see how I was going (in myself and with the medication) - he's worried about me and believes I am more than just post-natally depressed, was talking about me having Post Traumatic Stress - quite possible I think, it just is weird for me to have a 'name' for how I am feeling thats all. I go back to him on Wednesday, as does my DH - so I guess the ball is rolling on things - but there are just so many issues on the boil at the moment, it's hard to know which one to deal with first iykwim. Sigh Sigh.....
The new forums are a bit annoying when you type across - has anyone noticed that, you can't see your typing? Guess there will be teething problems.
Mako - just read your post, wish I could offer some real advice, other than to keep trying hon, I know its tough and potentially heartbreaking, but with the medication and hope, what else can you do but to try try again, and pray one of your bubs will stick now. I can see you with another bub - and my DH1 used to tell me "if you can SEE it, then so it shall be" - and he was always right
Well, gotta head to bed, tired tired tired - DH has had Flynn in with him (and of course Flynn sleeps through for him) but it's probably more a case of I'm a light sleeper and hear every little thing. We started Flynn on solids this last week, and even though he's not eating much, a few spoonfulls, it's started and he seems to like it. I'm kind of sad about it - because my boy is growing up, and I just want to keep him in amber just the way he is right now, because he is damm CUTE!
Lee. How lovely that your Dr called to see how you are doing. Its great to have a Dr who really does care about his/her patients. Mine does the same which is very nice.
All the best for yours and your DH's appointments tomorrow.
Have to say I'm a bit jealous of your very own PINK tool kit
Kelly All the best for your scan tomorrow too. I'm sure bub is doing all the right things
DH and I spoke a little more about things last night and he's happy for me to start taking all the medication again. I guess we'll just continue taking each day as it comes. My Ob said if she was me she wouldn't be giving up until we get another very sticky bub but I guess its a bit easy for her to say that as its not her who has to deal with all the pain and anger and frustration of losing a bub but she does know I always wanted more than one earth baby. She really is a lovely person and a wonderful Ob and I am very happy to stick with her. As for Dr S well I haven't heard from him so I guess we won't bother seeing him anymore.
Happy belated Mother's day to everyone. A special for Michelle, I can't imagine how bittersweet it was.
Mako: I'm sorry you don't have much certainty but I'm glad you and DH have talked and agreed on a way forward.
Lee: Hun I was diagnosed with PTSD after Harry. I was a mess but I'm happy to say I found a fantastic psychiatrist who specialised in in stillbirth. He had actually lost a child about 30 years ago. If I can help feel free to PM.
Kelly: good luck with your scan. I've got everything crossed.
Well I the best mother's day. DH and the boys did such sweet things to make me feel very loved and special. I hope you all know that you are very special mamma's.
Bek I too am worried about Willow. I sent her a message earlier today on FB but haven't heard back yet. Hopefully she's just busy with her kids and stuff. I know she had a rather busy weekend so she might be trying to catch up on things after that.
Anyway Willow you know you are being thought about
Ok I had a message from Willow a little while ago and she has no internet atm as their modem is broken.
Just wanting to wish Kelly and Lee all the best for your appointments today.
I'm feeling very very flat at the moment. AF has decided tp show her ugly head yet again. I don't understand what my body is doing. I've gone from 35 day cycles to 25 days after D&C and now this one is only 23 days. Its absolute cr*p. I hope she doesn't hang around long this time cos it just seems like the last one only just left a couple of weeks ago
Does anyone know if I start taking clomid if it should help lengthen cycles apart a bit?? Sorry I didn't think to ask at my appt on Monday
Sorry for the selfish post yet again
Michelle how are you holding up hun? I constantly think of you,Oscar,Lily and Omar
Hi ladies, sorry i havent been posting again. I've been doing ok, but havent felt i have much to contribute, i think of you all alot.
It's Everson's EDD today, i'm doing ok considering. Otherwise my pregnancy is going well 19weeks 3days (20weeks on Sunday), we had out 18/20week scan last Friday but didnt find out the gender due to bubba not being very co-operative and the lady was a little rude because DD had had enough.
I'll try to post and contribute more thinking of you all
Mako - Hugs hun... I'm thinking of you a lot, it's not an easy time at all. Hang in there though, I'm putting money on the fact that you'll get your dream bubba soon.
Well... I had my 12 week scan today and I'm so relieved, happy, amazed that all is perfect!! Bub measured spot on for dates and was nice and active! All the checks seemed to be really good, although as my bloods were done in Melbourne, they couldn't actually give me my downs testing results... but from the scan side of things, the neck measurement was only 1.9 so that's pretty damn good (I believe)!! So all was looking absolutely perfect and I'm just so incredibly happy.. we're actually having a baby!! DS came with us too.. it was so nice to share it with him.
Anyway must go.. thinking of you all and hope everyone is ok!
KELLY _ Congratulations on such a wonderful scan honey, I was so pleased for you when I read your text message yesterday! How so very exciting!!!! Yay for you!!! Are you finding out what flavour the bubs is???
BONHAM _ Hugs hugs & love to you on Everson's EDD.
Just a quick one from me, it's "Jayne Day" today & my house is a bomb!
Love Jayne
PS _ Look at my ticker!!! Am I loving myself? Oh yes I am!
Kelly, such fantastic news! I was thinking of you often yesterday
Just realised that although I read this thread all the time, I haven't posted for ages . I'm so up and down ATM, and hate to come in here moaning and groaning. Anyway, I'll try to make more of an effort when I have the time...........I'm in the same boat as Lisa!!! You are all very important to me
Janie - What's up chick? What are you moaning & groaning about? If you're having a tough time with things, then shout out & let us know! We can't help you otherwise & that's what we are all here for. How are the boys? How are YOU adjusting to being Mummy to 2 little ones? How is the feeding going?
Michelle - How are things with you? When is your next OB appointment? Are Lily & Oscar behaving more now? How are you coping?
Willow - I'm so sorry, I never wished you a Happy Birthday. I really hope you had a fantastic day & were spoiled rotten. How are the reno's going? What are you having done?
Lisa - Lets start throwing dates around for the catch up when I'm in Melbourne. How close is everybody to the city? We are booked into Mantra on the Park.
Mako - I'm sorry AF is being a royal brat to you, as if you've been through enough. I only hope it gets sorted quickly & you catch the egg with sticky hands VERY SOON!
Kelly - Tell us names you are thinking of!!! Personally I'm fond of the name Jayne for a girl, or I'll settle for the middle name as Jayne at the very least. heheheh
Well I must go get some fruit & veg before I pick up the girls & I have to pay school fees today. Aaaarrrrggghhhh bills are never-ending at our end right now.
Oh Jayney, I can't believe I forgot to mention it!!!!!!!!!! I am so super excited that you're coming! Only two weeks ago I was saying to Kelly when I saw her that she had to convince you to come over LOL, that i'm dying to meet you. Unfortunately none of us live close to each other............Lisa and I are miles away from each other, Kel is about 25 minutes from me. She's closest to where you are staying (good spot BTW). I know I'm happy to come into the city to catch up, I'm sure Lisa will be too. There's no way I'd want you to all drag yourselves out to the Eastern suburbs to visit my house that might prove to be a bit squishy for us all! When are you here in September?????
