Stoked - congratulations on your pregnancy....it is so exciting and so scary all at once. I am a bit like Jo - I can't help much. I have always seen an obstetrician, apart from the first appointment with the GP to get the referral and confirm the pregnancy.... ahhh actually no, for one of the pregnancies I had my HCG monitored every week for about 5 weeks until I saw the obstetrician who recommended I discontinue with it. I've not gone public for hossy either. For one of my pregnancies I requested a blood test to confirm and the GP refused. I thought it was weird but I already had made an appointment with the obs, for the next week so wasn't that worried. The GP told me that sometimes progesterone is given early on in pregnancy to help maintain the uterus in a receptive state for the embryo... I never ended up having that treatment, so have done no reading on it at all. I did see an accupuncturist while trying to get pregnant and the treatment and herbs were intended to help with the endometrium. I am pretty sure it did, as the flow was exactly how they said it would be each time and it as different to my normal flow during menstruation.

Wishing you a healthy pregnancy and hoping this bubba stays sticky.
