Congratulations Jude on the birth of Daniel!!! A bit stressful in the last week but I'm so glad things worked out the way they were meant to.
Laney, really glad to hear from you and thrilled things are going so well. It really sounds like you're getting the attention you deserve and I know that you'll take your boy home too.
I've finally worked out how to post some pics. I have millions of course but it takes ages to post each one and I'm watching him stir and hoping he stays asleep just a teeny bit longer... Here is our boy
We are doing well generally, he feeds well and my boobs are actually not too sore which I was dreading so that's excellent. trying to get him to sleep in his bed at night has been a challenge but to be expected. I got the post baby blues when my milk came in and unfortunately the feeling of recovering from the Caesar as well as the similar weather brought back all the memories and feelings of when I had Edward, which added a whole other dimension. But I'm feeling better now and chatted to the midwife this morning when she came round to weigh him and it was good to know it's completely normal. Otherwise I still can't quite believe he's ours and he's here and healthy!!!
I am a bit late with my congrats but here goes....
CONGRATS ROZZIE ON THE SAFE ARRIVAL OF HENRY!!!!
I checked out your photos and he is adorable!
And of course,
CONGRATS JUDE ON THE ARRIVAL OF DANIEL!!!!
Tildy - hope your bub decides to make its arrival soon for you! Should we be aiming for another blue bundle (sorry, can't remember if you know the sex or not)?
Laney - congrats on how far you have made it. It is wonderful seeing your ticker just speeding along there and it sounds like your doctors have you under close watch which can only be a good thing.
Not much to report here. My stitch is booked for removal on the 14 April (unless I go into labour earlier) and I will possibly be induced the same day - ob will decide on the day depending on my cervix and how engaged she is. Bubs has definitely dropped though & I am secretly hoping my waters break before the scheduled stitch removal date so we can just get it over with. I just want to meet her now!!
My goodness Jo, I swore you were only about 30 weeks, then I see your ticker and it's almost time!!! So excited for you, less than two weeks till you meet your little girl. Enjoy your last days of pregnancy.
Jude, I am so happy to hear that Daniel is here and nice and big.
Rozzie, I love the picture of you and baby Henry! I can't wait to see more pictures as he grows.
Tildy, You should be next! Unless Jo decides to go a bit early. I still think that you are having a little girl. When is your next doctors appt.?
I am starting to relax a bit about this pregnancy. I think talking to my high risk doctor last week was a huge help for me. He said that babies that grow at or above the 50th percentile at this point will not have a growth problem later. He said that he has been doing this for a long time and knows what he is talking about. I also know that there are a lot of other things that can go wrong during pregnancy so the extra ultrasounds and nst's should help me relax. I hope!
Jo (jlk)- I have wanted to ask you how you have been doing for a while now. I am not too sure why but I didn't know how to start that post. I see that I missed Finn's Birthday by a few days. I hope that it wasn't too difficult for you. I just wanted to tell you that I have been thinking of you from time to time and I am glad that you post once and a while.
Judy - congrats on the arrival of Daniel, I remember when we were on the ttc road together, its so wonderful to see the much anticipated arrival of Daniel, I know he's been a long stressful time coming, enjoy this precious time with your gorgeous little man. Can't wait to hear how you are and how it all went, but so great to see you got the delivery you wanted.
Congratulations to all your wonderful women on your recent arrivals, I'm sorry I don't know too many of you these days, but congratulations my thoughts are with you all. We all know the road to this moment is full of obstacles and high stress, but you girls are proof that we would go through anything to have healthy babies.
Laney - so great to see you here, and to see you getting looked after with more attention. I'll be watching you closely with all my thoughts and deepest prayers coming your way hon, good luck
