    Hi Girls,

I've posted a few days ago and lost the whole thing, so here I go again!

Ellie, congrats hun! I wish you a safe and smooth road ahead x

Bec, I have popped out too! The last 2 weeks I really popped out, having to wear that belt extender thingie, soon I'll be in my maternity clothes...lol. I'm glad I kept them all from last year. The ring you got for Luca is just gorgeous! I made my DF buy me one at Christams b/c my friend told me that every time a baby is born in her family, her hubby buys her a ring, so I used that as an excuse! It's an eterninty ring, and I have Joshua's name and date of birth engraved on the inside.

Laney, I hope I feel the movements soon! I think I'm feeling flutters ATM. Glad everything is going well with Grayson

Jo, good to hear from you hun! I'm so glad Kaitlyn is giving you so much joy, I can't believe she's 5 months already! Woohoo!

Jos, woohoo to 32 weeks! Don't worry about the stitch coming out hun, it'll all be good

Teagz, so close to your big day now! I can't wait to see some pics. Glad everything worked out well with your dress, phew! Your ring sound so gorgeous too, every time I look at mine I think of Joshua I'm stoked your little bub's heart scan went well, very happy hun!

Megan, how are you going darl? Any movements yet?

AFM, I finally got the combined blood/scan results, the trisomy 21 result is 1:5610 so I am just so happy! My OB said it was excellent and very low risk. So I am over the moon, and have started telling people especailly the ones that have been giving me suspicious looks for the last 3 or so weeks! lol. Nausea is easing off now, so hopefully I will be bouncing around soon!!! ha ha.

Diana has sent me a couple of pics of Fabian and he is so precious! He is doing so well, think he might be going home in about 4 weeks.

Hi to everone else I missed

    Bec, haha a milestone indeed!!

Beata, I need to start getting some maternity/bigger clothes too. A friend of mine gave me a heap of hand me downs, but she had twins, and they're a little big still for me yet! So far I have only had to buy a couple of those belly belt things (just a stretching bit of fabric, really) and I wear them over my jeans and leave the fly undone. But, work skirts are getting, ah, rather snug now... actually I think I may have ruined them now and put a forever lasting "bump" inprint into them. Oops. never mind. I'm really hanging out for summer/warmer weather so I can get some of those maxi dresses and go all Nichole Richie Bump style. They are so many different prints just coming out to choose from too, I won't know where to start!

Excellent news about your results too!! And your morning sickness. Don't youjust love it when everything just starts to click into place And what did I tell you about the luck hehe.

So great Dianna and Fabian are going well too. and Woot for only another 4 weeks!

Happy friday all! Hope you all enjoy the long weekend (this week or next - which ever weekend you get it!) Pray that the weather is this good next weekend - don't fancy looking like a drowned fat rat in my wedding gown

    Much Love xx

    Hi Girls,

Beata, congratulations on your scan, that's wonderful news. Its quite a relief isn't it? I too am getting quite a bump now, definitely in maternity clothes! No movements yet, but its still rather early, I may not for another month or so. I hope you are starting to feel better as well.

Teagz, is it only one week to go - wow! I'll be thinking of you next week & praying for beautiful weather! Whatever the weather is the day will be very special & memorable for you. I have great memories of my wedding & it ending up pouring during the reception All the best & a big congratulations Will you be going away on a honeymoon?

Bec, you must have your scan coming up soon? almost towards the end of the first trimester, its such a great milestone that. The ring you got in memory of Luca sounds beautiful!

I had a 16-wk scan on Thursday to check the baby's heart & everything is looking fantastic, I am so very happy & feel like I can finally start to relax a bit. The OB was able to check a lot of other things and all is looking good, dates are a few days ahead, so all in all I am quite pleased & getting excited!

I hope everyone is well. Have a lovely weekend.

    Hi everyone,

Berry, that's great about the scan. And it sounds like you are getting really closely looked after which is fantastic.

Teagz, you must be so excited about your wedding now! Enjoy the day. Don't worry if anything goes wrong - it will be perfect just the same!! Can't wait to see pictures of your dress. Have you got special underwear to go under it? You could get DH to take a baby bump picture in that later on

Beata, those results are great. You must be thrilled. LOL about suspicious looks. I've been in maternity clothes since 6 weeks but surprisingly no one has said they were on to me when I've told them I was pregnant. I have been able to stop wearing sacks to work now I've told people there!

AFM, I have my 12 week scan on friday.
Got a recall from my gp about my blood test results. Panicked all week waiting for my appointment, though tried not to. Turns out my TSH is low which can indicate a maternal condition of pregnancy. Surely I can't have another one? Gestational diabetes and obstetric cholestasis are enough! Good news is my liver is still fine.
Been a bit anxious lately. Still waking up at night and not getting back to sleep for hours thinking about Luca's pregnancy and this pregnancy. I did write a picture book about Luca for Eliana in my head last night when I couldn't sleep, though. I'm going to write the words on the computer and get her to decorate it!

    xx Bec.

So here you all are! I am soooo very happy to see all my old BB friends in the pregnancy section! CONGRATULATIONS to you all, absolutely fantastic news girls. It doesn't seem that long ago that we were advising each other on CM and praying for sticky embies..!! Congrats also to all the girls I have not had the pleasure of getting to know. I hope your pregnancies go well and your babies are born healthy and happy.

A huge congrats to all the mammas that had babies during this time! This forum has been very busy with lots of wonderful news....

Sorry I have not been in touch in so long but I was facing some pretty fierce demons during this pregnancy and just didn't have the strength to do anything but pray and cry.

As you all know, thanks to Beata, I had my little boy almost 5 weeks ago. You also know that I have spent most of this pregnancy in hospital and on bed rest but I made it! It was soooo tough but I made it!!! Fabian was born at 28w6days after my membranes ruptured at 28 weeks. My OB had only just taken me off bed rest 2 days before so I didn't get very far! He is doing very well and still in his humidicrib in hospital but he now weighs 1782 grams and is just gorgeous. He will probably have to stay for another 3 or 4 weeks as he needs to fatten up a little more. I can't wait until I can take him home.

Will try and log in more often to see how you are all going but please forgive me if I don't respond often. I spend 12 hours a day at the hospital, plus I express milk every 3 hours (including at night - it is so upsetting having to get up to a breast pump instead of a baby) so am really exhausted most of the time.

Take care and give your bellies a little rub from me!

    Hugs
    Diana x

Can't wait for you to take little Fabian home hun, hopefully the time will go quickly for you. Can't imagine how difficult this is for you but just think how well your little man is doing and he'll be home soon!!!! Woohoo!!!!!

DD, it's so good to hear from you So glad everything is going well, and great that you'll get to take your little boy home soon xx take care of yourselves!

AFM, If it doesn't rain, it pours. I have a horrible cold, 4 days before our wedding, so I'm feeling quite sad and sorry for myself but today SIL lost your baby. She was 18 weeks. She is in labour now and her placenta is attached to her c-section scar and there is a risk that she may end up needing a historectomy - not really sure how it all works but I'm that nothing else queer happens.

    It's just really not cool.

    Hello Ladies,

Bec, glad your 12-week scan went well, not good about the blood test result, but hopefully they can keep a close eye on you.

Diana, so great to hear from you, a big congratulations on the birth of Fabian. You

Beata, I hope you are feeling well. My tummy has suddenly ballooned. I swear I can feel it stretching

Teagz, what awful news about your SIL, that is just devastating. I really pray she doesn't need a hysterectomy, that would be too cruel. I hope you recover before the wedding, just take it easy

    Hi to everyone else.

Teagz, so sad to hear of your SIL's loss...that's so awful. I hope she'll be OK, thinking of her and sending her my love and prayers (even though she doesn't know me).

AFM, was feeling a bit off today, it seems like m/s is determined to stay a bit longer. At least I don't have to pretend any more at work, if I'm feeling yucky I just whinge to anyone who's listening....

    Hi all,

Teagz, thinking of you today!! Can't wait to hear all about it.

AFM had my 12 week ultrasound on thursday. Never had that one before so didn't know what to expect. Risk was 1 in 152 for age but 1 in 3650 from the screening, so I'm happy with that.

Was worried when I first went in the room because they had the big screen on and the last time I saw one of those Luca's unbeating heart was on it. But it wasn't too bad. Bub was waving arms and legs around etc so I think that helped a bit. We got some cute pictures. So I'm glad we decided to have the 12 week scan this time.

    xx Bec.

Hi B, anxious but well! I've been lucky not to have any M/S with this one. Don't hit me!! Got a bit of energy back too.

Hope your M/S is finally going away (for good).

Hey Bec, I know all about anxiety! I'm OK most of the time, but if I get really crampy (which I don't really, it's ALL in my head lol) I get a bit worried. I'm still getting some pains on one side generally (like when you've ovulationg) mostly on the left side, do you get that? I know when I get a bit of cramping it means things are streching in there, so that's all good. I ordered myself a fetal baby monitor, don't know if I did the right thing, but I thought I felt lots of small pokes in there (didn't feel like gas) and then it stopped. Sooooooo, I totally panicked and went looking for the monitor. Again, I know it's still too soon to feel regular movements, but I want to hear that heartbeat! Am I being silly??????
m/s is getting better hun, I can eat pretty much when I want, although I still get a bit nauseaus in the afternoons. Tiredness is slowly disappearing, I have more energy now. BUT, if I walk around a lot, I get quite breathless and 'heavy' down there . Is that nornal??? You are so lucky not to get m/s this time around, I didn't have any last year and this year I did. I've convinced myself we're having a girl!
Hope you have a great day hun, lots of sun out there!

Hi B, I have never gotten crampy during pregnancy but lots of people seem to. The heaviness I've gotten later on. Maybe from about week 30. And it definitely happened walking a lot.

About the doppler, I hadn't thought of it myself, but I went to a SIDS and Kids support during pregnancy meeting last week and most of the women there had one. I think you should do whatever it takes to stay sane!! One of the women there was 34 weeks pregnant and said that she got one fairly early on and used it most days between 12 weeks and around week 20 when she started feeling regular movments, and not so much after that, except if she had a particularly anxious day. Sounded pretty good to me.

It's normal to get breathless... I've read our hearts have 25% more blood to pump around when pregnant! So we need to breathe more to get oxygen to all that blood.

    xx Bec.
