Bec, thanks hun. We actually had Joshua's 1st angelanniversary on 1st October, that was a bittersweet day remembering the day he was born. Fortunatelly we ended up going out to a really nice dinner and had a lovely relaxing night out. I wan't going to go to work, but I'm glad that I did as it took my mind off the day. We realeased a balloon each with our own message for Joshua and after dinner we lit a little candle on a cake and wished Josh a happy birthday. It's coming up to the 20 week mark soon, but I'm not too bad ATM, see how I am closer to the date! Thanks for thinking of me hun xxx
Hi Beata, you wouldn't think the baby could 'hide' in there, but its amazing how they can get into a tricky position - lol! At least you know if your OB can have trouble finding it, you may not find the HB with a device that's not as sophisticated, we don't want you panicking! Interesting what your OB said about feeling movement on and off at the beginning. I thought I felt bubba (first time, didn't feel Jasmine), about a week ago and then nothing, I started to think maybe it wasn't it, but felt something today as well, so maybe this is just the start. Can't wait to feel proper kicks and I'm sure you will soon as well, which will be reassuring. How did your NT results go? I'm assuming that everything is looking good.
Hi Bec, you must be a bit relieved to get past the 12-week mark, I know I really was. Thank you for thinking of me as well It has been on my mind lately, it will be good in some ways to get past that mark, but also feels a little strange.
My angelversary for Jass is the 29th October, Beata amazing how close our pg's have been both times. I'm glad you got through yours ok. Sounds like you & DH had a nice time remembering Joshua. It's not nice having that day draw near is it - it was one of the worst days of my life. I just pray that this little one is ok, I couldn't bear losing another baby.
Anyway, don't want to end on a sad note, I'm sure all of our little ones will be fine
Everything went perfectly!! I even fitted into my dress
Good to see that everyone is going well, I'll be back later with details and persies and hopefully photos soon!!
and love xx
ETA: WOO!!! Double digits in my count down!! Wow... it's going so fast
Teagz, you're back!!! I'm glad your special day went well, can't wait to see the pics..was your little man behaving himself in there??
Meagn, we are very close in our pg this second time around, I keep forgetting how close we were last year as well! I'll be thinking of you as the time nears Jasmine's angelversary, what ever you do spend the day exactly how you want to. Big hugs hun x
Bec, I hope you're travelling nicely hun.
Diana, big hello to you my love, give your little man a huge hug from aunty B.
This will be a 'me' post. I woke up last night vomiting & it has lasted until 10:30am this morning (so far!), I also have diarrhea. I spoke to a midwife who said that the baby should be fine because he/she is fully formed, but the key thing is to keep hydrated, and if it goes on for 24-hrs to go to the hospital as they'll need to put a drip in. Has anyone had any experience with this type of thing? If it hasn't stopped by the time my DH is home, I'm going to get him to drive me to the hosp to check me & bubs. Not good, feeling very worried.
Hi Berry, I haven't had that myself, but gastro doesn't hurt babies (except listeria which is rare and you only get if you've eaten things on the banned list!). Still, it's natural to be anxious when we've lost babies already - you should definitely pop down to the hospital if you are worried.
Oh you poor love! I hope you're feeling better soon hun, but try not to worry too much. Like Bec said gastro is not dangerous to bubs, but try to keep up with the fluids. It's so easy to pick up stuff like this ! A few of my preggie friends have had gastro and you just have to wait for it to pass unfortunately. It's good that you've rung the midwife as now you know what to do it if the bug keeps going (which I hope it doesn't!).
Please don't stress hun, I know it's so easy to do in our cases, but be assured it's just a bug and it will pass soon
