Laney...is it 'easier' than with Miss A because I'm so busy running around after her...and the confidence that I know we can bring a beautiful, healthy baby into the world is comforting...I still worry, but that's just me..I'm actually more worried about leaving Miss A..she is my everything and finding it hard to get my head around leaving her...really need to bond with this bubba!!!
Hi guys, I had a stillborn wee boy called Cash on Nov 21 2009 with no cause.
This morning I had a positive preg test this morning and am freaking out. Even if things go well, this is going to be the longest 36 weeks of my life!!!
I just wanted to know how people coped with the worry that something will go wrong?
Hi Mrswpilgrim, I am sorry for the loss of your dear son Cash, such a heartbreaking thing to go through. Congratulations on the positive result, that is great news. I think everyone copes differently, but for me it was just getting through each stage at a time i.e getting past the first trimester, the first scan etc. It must be awful having no answers. Do you have a good OB? I would suggest this would be a good start. At least having a good discussion with him/her to work out a plan to monitor you & bubs closely. All the very best hun for a healthy pg.
Hi Laney, hang in there, I am sure your BFP is just around the corner. I hope Grayson is really well & you are enjoying your time with him to take your mind of ttc, it can be stressful.
Hopefulone, glad that clexane is working for you and that you passed the 20-wk mark, it is great milestone for you.
Ellie, your scan must be soon to check on the plancenta? I just had a friend who got good news about her placenta that was very low moving up so she can have a natural birth, I believe there is a good chance of this happening in most cases.
Beata, how are you hun? Has that baby of yours turned around yet? I hope that you are more comfortable than you have been and are enjoying your time off. How is the nursery coming along?
Hi Teagz, I hope you are adjusting to being a new mum and are enjoying your lovely son. Must be quite an adjustment.
AFM, we have finally moved and are just starting to settle into our house. Will take a while to get things in order as we have had to paint the whole house and do a lot of work to get it in a good state, but all in all it is coming along well. I'm looking forward to finally getting the nursery ready this coming week and being able to pack my hossy bag, not long now. I keep telling bubs to hold tight as I am so exhausted now & could really do with a couple of weeks rest. Hope everyone is well.
hopefulone, I am taking low dose aspirin. I took it with clexane during my last pregnancy and I never stopped taking it. I have never had an issue TTC. I am usually pregnant the first month. It is just taking a lot longer after my C-section.
It is great to hear that you are doing well and past 20 weeks.
Berry, sounds like you have been keeping yourself busy. I hope you have been finding time to rest. Have fun setting up bub's room.
mrswpilgrim, I am so sorry about Cash. How far along were you? I am glad that you found bellybelly. I don't know what I would have done without all of the ladies here.
It is going to be a very difficult few months for you. The one thing that helped me was to have a doctor that really understood how nervous I was. He gave me the extra ultrasounds and visits that I needed to stay calm.
Ellie, It is nice to read that you are a little more confident this time around. I know that nothing will ever take away the nervousness. Good luck on your upcoming scan.
I was 30 weeks 2 days, I have had decreased movements for a week, and had gone to the hospital everyday as i was so worried, and i knew something was wrong. I finally had an ultrasound on the 18th, and there was a heartbeat (but no movement) but this was not reported back to my ob. He was gone by the 19th.
We had a postmortum done, as I needed to know that it wasnt anything that i had done, but we never got any answers, he was a perfectly healthy big baby which makes it really hard to understand.
mrswpilgrim, your ticker is not working because you did not select the correct format for bellybelly. I believe it has to be the one that ends in /url/.
your story is heart breaking. You knew something was wrong and your medical team failed you. It is "normal" to not get an answer. I have had 2 late losses and I never got an answer. Usually when the baby is not moving as much as he/she should it is because they are not getting enough blood flow through the placenta. Were you tested for blood clotting disorders? Blood clots in the placenta can sometimes be the cause of reduced blood flow.
I am suspected to have a blood clotting disorder. I have never had a positive test for one but it is very rare to have two late losses in a row. I took low dose aspirin and clexane (an injectable blood thinner) during my last pregnancy.
