    Hi Teagz,

Great to hear from you, congratulations on the safe arrival of Jackson I am so very pleased for you. Well done on getting through labour with no drugs, you are very brave and he was a great size too! Enjoy every special moment with your little guy. By the way, love the name Jackson.

AFM, have been packing, our stuff moves in about 10-days and I finish work in two weeks. Feeling tired, just hoping litte one stays snuggled in there for a bit longer. Hope everyone is well.

Hey Teagz, glad to hear everything is going well with you! Can't wait to hear your BS in detail. How good is it that your induction went well and the labour was very quick! I told you it would be a piece of cake! haha Keep in touch and give your little man a hug and a kiss from all his aunties Are you going to upload his pic in your signature???

Megan, good luck with your move hun and pleeeeeese remember to take it easy....no lifting heavy items or anything like that. You're going very well and keep it that way!

AFM, passed 32 weeks on Saturday, was very proud of myself! Getting sore everywhere and feel like a huge whale but apart from that I can't complain. Sometimes I get a bit worried as my little guy is very active every day and then he'll have a quiet day, but I poke him and he usually gets going again.... I think he's still in transverse position, I will trying to walk on all fours for a bit every day, hopefully he'll move to a more favourable possie! We're getting our carpet laid down today and then I can pick up my nursery furniture and set it all up. I've got everything so it's just a matter of putting it all together. Can't wait!! Then I'll wash all his stuff and pack my hossy bag...

Hi to everyone else, I hope you're going well

Teagz, congratulations again on your little man!

Berry, good luck with the move. Make sure that you sit back and relax and let everyone else do the heavy work.

beata, I am glad to hear that you are ticking right along. Grayson was changing positions constantly until 36 weeks! One week he was breech, head down, then transverse. It started to hurt really bad when he decided to make a big move. How exciting that you are getting bubs room ready.

Ellie, how are things going for you?

AFM, testing is 4 days away. I am very excited and nervous about it. You would think that after so many pregnancies in a short time I would have some clue if I was or wasn't pregnant but I have nothing.

    Hi Everyone

Thanks for asking Laney...all ok here...still praying that my placenta will be in 'the right spot' at 32 week scan as the thought of delivering in Perth is freaking me out! I can feel myself retreating into my shell a bit...waiting to make the 26 week 'viable' (hate that term) mark...then 32 week scan...and then the big count down...I just want this little one here safely!!! I hope you have wonderful news to share with us in a couple of days!!!!

Beata - Congrats on the 32 weeks hun...and setting up for bub is exciting...enjoy!

Teagz - Hope all is going well.

That's time up for me...Miss A here chatting away...off to cuddle my munchkin

    Hi Ladies

I know it has been a long time but it is great to come back and see all the pregnant mummies!

Beata - I can't believe you are already at 32 weeks - I am so happy for you! How does the nursery look? I bet it is awesome!

Teagz - Congratulations on the birth of Jackson! That is fabtastic news!

    Laney - Good luck!

Berry1 - Moving! I hope it all goes well and smoothly for you. Look ofrward to hearing your good news soon

AFM: Zarian is a true blessing! He is a reflux bub and we have had many sleepless nights and days! Hence the reason I have not been on for so long - barely get time to even check my emails these days. He is worth every moment though and even though I am living on 4 hours sleep a night - I wouldn't change it for the world! We love him so much and we count our blessings he is on our lives! Will try and download photos soon.

    Love to you all

    Fourth time round

Hi ladies, just wanted to pop in and say hi again - I'm 20 weeks now and think I've adjusted to clexane. Still very nervous of course (lost my last one about now) but the scans all look good and I'm taking meds unlike last time.

Laney - have you tried low dose aspirin like cardiprin while TTC? My FS Lynn Burmeister put me on that and it seemed to work like magic - I was preg within the month. If you have recurrent miscarriage probs too you just keep taking it when you're preg (and start the prednisone or clexane or whatever you're taking).

Theresa, Grayson had reflux too. It was gone by 6 1/2 months. Those days are a distant memory now. He sleeps 12 hours most nights.

Ellie, I am glad that everything is going well for you. I had a low placenta with Grayson. It was very low until 28 weeks. At my 32 week scan it was nice and high. I hope that you have the same luck. Is this pregnancy even a tiny bit easier than your last? I am really keeping my fingers crossed that our next one is easier on me.

I had a BFN today Still no AF but I feel like she is right around the corner. I am disappointed but I also feel a little relieved. I really hope that I am not going to be one of the few women that have an issue getting pregnant after a c-section. I have always gotten pregnant our first month TTC. It has been 5 now. I hope it is just my body needing a little more time to heal.

Laney...is it 'easier' than with Miss A because I'm so busy running around after her...and the confidence that I know we can bring a beautiful, healthy baby into the world is comforting...I still worry, but that's just me..I'm actually more worried about leaving Miss A..she is my everything and finding it hard to get my head around leaving her...really need to bond with this bubba!!!

    Just got a positive test.

Hi guys, I had a stillborn wee boy called Cash on Nov 21 2009 with no cause.

This morning I had a positive preg test this morning and am freaking out. Even if things go well, this is going to be the longest 36 weeks of my life!!!

I just wanted to know how people coped with the worry that something will go wrong?

Hi Mrswpilgrim, I am sorry for the loss of your dear son Cash, such a heartbreaking thing to go through. Congratulations on the positive result, that is great news. I think everyone copes differently, but for me it was just getting through each stage at a time i.e getting past the first trimester, the first scan etc. It must be awful having no answers. Do you have a good OB? I would suggest this would be a good start. At least having a good discussion with him/her to work out a plan to monitor you & bubs closely. All the very best hun for a healthy pg.

Hi Laney, hang in there, I am sure your BFP is just around the corner. I hope Grayson is really well & you are enjoying your time with him to take your mind of ttc, it can be stressful.

Hopefulone, glad that clexane is working for you and that you passed the 20-wk mark, it is great milestone for you.

Ellie, your scan must be soon to check on the plancenta? I just had a friend who got good news about her placenta that was very low moving up so she can have a natural birth, I believe there is a good chance of this happening in most cases.

Beata, how are you hun? Has that baby of yours turned around yet? I hope that you are more comfortable than you have been and are enjoying your time off. How is the nursery coming along?

Hi Teagz, I hope you are adjusting to being a new mum and are enjoying your lovely son. Must be quite an adjustment.

AFM, we have finally moved and are just starting to settle into our house. Will take a while to get things in order as we have had to paint the whole house and do a lot of work to get it in a good state, but all in all it is coming along well. I'm looking forward to finally getting the nursery ready this coming week and being able to pack my hossy bag, not long now. I keep telling bubs to hold tight as I am so exhausted now & could really do with a couple of weeks rest. Hope everyone is well.

hopefulone, I am taking low dose aspirin. I took it with clexane during my last pregnancy and I never stopped taking it. I have never had an issue TTC. I am usually pregnant the first month. It is just taking a lot longer after my C-section.
It is great to hear that you are doing well and past 20 weeks.

Berry, sounds like you have been keeping yourself busy. I hope you have been finding time to rest. Have fun setting up bub's room.

mrswpilgrim, I am so sorry about Cash. How far along were you? I am glad that you found bellybelly. I don't know what I would have done without all of the ladies here.
It is going to be a very difficult few months for you. The one thing that helped me was to have a doctor that really understood how nervous I was. He gave me the extra ultrasounds and visits that I needed to stay calm.

Ellie, It is nice to read that you are a little more confident this time around. I know that nothing will ever take away the nervousness. Good luck on your upcoming scan.

    Thanks

Hi guys, thanks so much for the lovely replies.

I was 30 weeks 2 days, I have had decreased movements for a week, and had gone to the hospital everyday as i was so worried, and i knew something was wrong. I finally had an ultrasound on the 18th, and there was a heartbeat (but no movement) but this was not reported back to my ob. He was gone by the 19th.

We had a postmortum done, as I needed to know that it wasnt anything that i had done, but we never got any answers, he was a perfectly healthy big baby which makes it really hard to understand.

It it normal to not get any answers?

mrswpilgrim, your ticker is not working because you did not select the correct format for bellybelly. I believe it has to be the one that ends in /url/.

your story is heart breaking. You knew something was wrong and your medical team failed you. It is "normal" to not get an answer. I have had 2 late losses and I never got an answer. Usually when the baby is not moving as much as he/she should it is because they are not getting enough blood flow through the placenta. Were you tested for blood clotting disorders? Blood clots in the placenta can sometimes be the cause of reduced blood flow.

I am suspected to have a blood clotting disorder. I have never had a positive test for one but it is very rare to have two late losses in a row. I took low dose aspirin and clexane (an injectable blood thinner) during my last pregnancy.

    Hi ladies,

Laney, I'm sorry about your BFN. Hopefully next month will bring you the positive result you're after!

Ellie, praying the placenta will be in the right spot for the 32 week scan. I have read through someone else's post about it, and most of the girls said that in most cases the low lying placenta does move up with time. I'm sure you'll be fine hun, but I can understand being a bit stressed about it. Take it easy x

Theresa, so nice to hear from you hun!! I'm so glad you're enjoying motherhood with your precious little man Zarian. I'm sorry he's got issues with reflux, but have you tried elevating him when he's on his back? I don't know if I'm talking rubbish (wouldn't be surprised with my preggo brain these days! lol) but I've read somewhere that there is a special wedge I think it's called BabyWedge, and basically it doesn't allow your baby to be completely flat on his back so it helpes with the reflux....have you tried/heard of it?

Hopefulone, hello and welcome! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy hun, I hope it all goes very smoothly for you.

Mrswpilgrim, welcome to this thread and I'm both very sorry for the loss of your precious son Cash and glad to hear your pg again. I've lost my little boy Joshua at 21 weeks in Oct 08, and trying again was pretty hard for me although I knew I wanted to 100%. I was very scared like you, thinking something would go wrong again. I had a perfectly healthy boy, but lost him b/c of a big fibroid that interrupted the pg. I had my reason, and had the fibroid removed last year before attempting another pg, but I was still very nervous before the next cycle. So to answer your question, it does not matter when you try again, it is still nerve wrecking, but I think if you don't try, you won't get what you want. I agree with Megan, one step at a time is best, and talk through your concerns with your doc/OB. Staying as positive as you can also helps, I know it's very hard to do though!

Megan, so glad your house move went well! Wow, you're on the home stretch hun! Enjoy setting up your nursery. We've almost finished ours, still have to get a little bookcase for the books and toys and I've ordered some really cute baby animal jungle stickers/wall boarder which should arrive this week. I've been packing my hossy bag for a month now, and still haven't done it!! I really have to to it this week as 2 girls in my belly group have had their babies already!

Teagz, I love your ticker picture of Jackson, he is adorable! I hope you're travelling nicely hun, have you posted your BS yet? Big hugs to you and bubbie x

Bec, how are you going hun? How many weeks are you now?

    Love and hugs to all.

Beata- wow you are getting close now. How are you going? Did you do anything for Fat Tuesday?

Ellie - you are truly inspiring.

MrsWpilgrim - My ob says that for some women, there will be no answers. It seems I am one of those. I suppose the positive thing about not having answer is that I have had so many tests and investigations, that I know what I don't have. I have just accepted for me there are no answers, at least so far, the babies were just not meant to be.

I have also accepted that for me there are absolutely no guarantees in pregnancy and as scared as I am of more losses, I just try to cherish each day of the pregnancy, because I don't know how long I will have the pregnancy. Treasuring each day is what helps me get through. Also having a wonderfully sensitive ob who takes my calls and who sees me when I need reassurance, helps too. As does coming here to BB. I mean look at Ellie - what a heartbreaking journey, but she persevered and now has achieved her dream.

Teagz - love the photo of Jackson. Congratulations.

Laney - glad you found an ob that was sensitive to your anxiety and willing to provide reassurance.

Good to hear everyone else is going well too.

I am a recent escapee from the recurrent m/c thread ( 9 weeks pg) and thought I'd touch base in here. I have recently ceased wok on my ob advice, and so far so good, but only 3rd day in. But like everything, one day at a time.

I would dearly love to get a ticker up and running but I post so much in the m/c forums I am worried I will forget to turn the ticker off. So the end result is that I don't have one.

I am so terribly sorry for the loss of your precious son Cash. He is forever with you and he will help you through. Good luck.

My ob doesn't refer to my experiences as m/c but rather extremely premature labour. Interesting, but makes it less devastating for me somehow. I still say recurrent m/c though in these threads as it's easier to explain?
