Hi

Ask all the questions you need. I can only give you advice on what has happened in my situation.

With Health Insurance - yes it is bloody expensive. We currently pay $270.00 per month (it has just gone up again). But at this stage we are keeping it until and maybe drop back a little later.

With IVF - at Repromed in Adelaide - because their success rate is really good, if you are 38 and under (I am not sure how old you are), they will only put in one embreyo per cycle, until I think if you have gone 3 times with no success they might do 2.

I really don't suggest you take Clomid without Dr's advice. What I have heard is that if you have done 3 cycles with Clomid it is a small percentage you will conceive after that.

I did 4 cycles with Clomid, but they only allowed me to do the 4th was because I was getting ready to go into IVF and my cycle was a little more regulated and that they could guess when I would be starting.

Can I ask a question - are you see a normal GP or are you seeing a specialist in fertility???
