HHmmmm, not sure. I usually lose weight in the first tri too, but I don't hurl.
Some women cop awful cases of MS, I'd mention it to your Dr next time you see her. Keep your fluid up in the meatime you poor thing.
Just wondering when I should start worrying.
I've been pretty sick since about week 6 and throwing up daily. I've been struggling to eat and drink. Yesterday I was throwing up despite having Maxolon. I only throw up 4 -5 times a day, but so far I've lost more than 4 kilos.
Mum thinks I should call my Ob and talk to him about it, but I'm more of the opinion that as long as I'm getting something down I shouldn't worry to much.
What do you think?

Thanks Lulu
I think my mum worries cause she had hypermesis and was in and out of hospital for all her pregnancies.
Yeh, I think 4-5 times a day is a lot, but not sure what the docs say though. No wonder your mum is worried for you, it must have been awful.
4-5 times a day is not too bad providing that you are able to keep some fluids down. Try drinking small amounts often. carry a bottle of water with you all the time and take a sip evert 15 minutes or so. Try eating ginger in any form that you like it. Ginger biscuits, ginger lollies. etc. as many women find this helpful. You could also try drinking ginger tea. Hopefully your MS will not last for too much longer.
Thanks Alan,
Unfortunately ginger actually makes me worse! But I'll keep trying to force the water down and hope for the best.![]()
Hey, sorry you feeling so sick...I lost 10kg when I had MS, I threw up so much it was to much to count. I was taken to the hospital twice but they weren't concered about it at all. But if your worried go to the doc .
