pizza should be fine! maybe just avoid seafood ones!
Hi, was just wondering about eating pizza, I can't remember if I ate it in my last pregnancies but I've got a craving for it. Is it safe to eat and should I avoid any topings? I did a search online but didn't find alot relating to if it's safe to eat, more on what people have been craving.
pizza should be fine! maybe just avoid seafood ones!
As long as it's piping hot you sould be fine.
I ate pizza in my pregnancy....made sure it was really hot though.
Thanks!!
Looks like pizza for tea, I don't eat seafood so I should be fine!!
Yeh, when I was pregnant I kept away from the meat pizzas, like salami or ham or chicken ... just incase they maybe a bit cheap in quality or processed
... I would have the margarita (tomato paste, cheese, oregano) with added on top mushrooms, YUMMO
ENJOY !!!!!!!!
As long as they are super hot, you're right! Seriously...go get yourself a pizza and don't stress too much, there was hardly any emphasis on what to eat/what not to eat when we were in our mummy's tummies and we turned out ok![]()
I ate pizza but it gave me heartburn!![]()
That is where RENNIE comes in handy! LOL![]()
Yumm Pizza is something I like!!
I have not eaten it since about 14 weeks due to chocking in it when we were out as dh was telling his mate about how much my boobs have grown and he looked at my chest and i inhaled pizza and since thwn to scared to eat!!! LOL
Otherwise i wiould still be eating it!!
RENNIE'S are yummy, I loved them! HAHAHA![]()
I still eat pizza but I try and go for the vegetarian ones if I can.
ive eaten pizza..meat ones and everything, everythings fine with me. but yeah i do make sure it is very hot..and if not i make it hotter. I think my man is getting sick of overcooked food..better safe then sorry![]()
I have recently been told to avoid any of the processed meats, like what they would use on pizza, so now Im confused lol.
I have been avoiding eating pizza for that very reason, and I used to love pizza![]()
yes it is best to avoid processed meats..especially the ones from the deli. But pizza when its hot enough will kill the bacteria, so thats why we are eating it hot. If its not hot then there has been a window of oppertunity to grow bacteria and all the nastys. You can eat pizza just if u have to heat it up some more when u get it home. But i wouldnt advise u going and having a straz sandwich or something..
i hope that helped...
Feeb - just read your post![]()
hahaha!!!
While the mortality rate of listeriosis for maternal-foetal infections is high, the actual incidence rate of listeriosis is incredibly low. In Australia, about 60 cases are diagnosed each year, only 6 of those in pregnant women. That's about 0.000003%.
So be careful what you eat, but don't beat yourself up and worry yourself sick if you think you ate something you aren't supposed to.
