Thanks mum2bee I know what you mean what if some poor frightened mum-to-be went in and got that news and decided they didn't want to travel for an u/s that was going to tell them the worst and just go straight into hospital when they could of had a healthy happy baby!

He rung me friday to ask when I was going back to have a follow up u/s or if I'd made a decision to have an abortion. I said I would never have an abortion and I will see a different doctor from now on and that all has been going perfectly since then. He felt the need to remind me that the likelyhood of miscarriage raises to 50% and I still could lose it at any time AHOLE. After a brief screaming match at his insensitivity and a few darkly worded blows against his character I hung up on him and will be making an appointment with a different doctor this week sometime for a u/s for next week (more chance of finding a heartbeat that way) and see how I go.

I really do hope that anyone who has ever been in my position always goes for a 2nd opinion ALWAYS. It's another human beings life and your own health and state of mind that gets dragged through the mud by awful people like that and I could of had an abortion procedure for a baby I may still be able to carry full term!

The first 6 wks seemed to drag but now I can't believe its nearly wk 7 its gone in a blink I can't believe how fast it's been now! I hope it keeps up and I can charge into 2nd semester so I can hopefully start telling people yay! (Thats if the next scans are well that is)

Thanks again to everyone for their love, support and understanding it's really meant a lot to me to know no matter how nasty drs and friends can get I can still come on here and get advise, electronic comfort hugs and reassurance from such a great group of people! My love, hugs and thanks to you all!
