    Ashlea is right about dairy. The stomach does find it hard to break down, its a bit of a lose lose though because it is the same with iron. We need calcium and iron and both make you quite constipated.

    Coloxyl worked an absolute charm for me, just make sure you get the lower dosage one. The higher dose is not recommended for pregnant woman. Eat plenty of cabbage as well.

    Remember that if you are increasing fibre into your diet to increase water intake too. If you don't then you will have really hard crumbly stools (TMI I know but it seemed like no matter how much water I drank just didnt help, which is where the coloxyl really worked)

    It makes me laugh now because it seems like I was constipated for so long during my second trimester and now I have the opposite......
