I had an argument with a girl in Maccas drive through...drove up to the window to pay for my order, I'd counted out the money while waiting in line, handed it through the window to her and she said I needed another $1. I told her no I gave you a $2 coin (counting it out in my head 2, 4, 6...)..anyway went on for a few more seconds and I scrabbled around trying to find another $1, fuming because I knew I *had* given her the right amount...turns out I had been counting one of the $1 coins as a $2 coin

I drove away as fast as I could, feeling so so stupid!! Especially as I'd nearly had a fight with her over a freaking one dollar coin!

As for stupid things I've done..just a couple of weeks ago parked in the supermarket car park to duck into video ezy. Came back to the car and got ready to drive off, then I realised that when I'd gotten out of the car I'd left it sitting in drive and hadn't put the hand brake on! Thanked my lucky stars the car hadn't rolled anywhere!!

I remember that thread too and was thinking fo starting one - great minds.

I had made myself a toasted cheese sandwich and cleaned up the kitchen a few days go by and I really felt like another one so I went to the fridge to get this block of cheese. I start getting p!ssy because I cannot find it and have a go at DH for eating all the cheese and not telling me.
We shared a few choice words and I sulked over it for a few days

Anyway about a week later during a conversation DH told me he had found the block of cheese in the little cupboard under the bench along with the cans of soup I had put away.

ooopppppsssss we had a great giggle about it afterwards as I swore black and blue that I didn't put it there. I still have no recollection of putting the cheese there.

Hehe I ordered about 30 too many wedding invites, at a couple of dollars each.... 70 guests, 70 invites, right? Wrong...

Picked up my u/s films, put them on top of the car while I strapped ds in, then drove for 20 minutes before I realised I had left them on the roof (obviously, they were gone by that time, but some nice person handed them back in to the u/s place for me).

Does forgetting your DH's name count? I had a mental blank for about half an hour and it drove me insane. We had only been together for about 7 years at the time so not long .

I was so embarassed. DH thought it was hysterical once I actually told him what the problem was.

I've said some super daft things but I can't remember any of them right now - damn preggy brain! But the daft thing I have done lately is buy the wrong washing powder - not just once but twice.

Last week I stood in the laundry section of the supermarket for ages picking out the right powder and somehow I managed to get top loader and not front loader. So I went back this week to get the right powder and very, VERY carefully selected my laundry powder only to discover last night that I'd done it again - I'd bought bloody top loader powder!!

Will I go for the trifecta this week???

LOL my favourite from the old thread (and I'm paraphrasing here) was a member who was trying to point something out to her DP on an empty block. So she said "Look, over THERE, where those houses aren't"

One of the worst ones I did (last pg) was
DP: Did you know Judas dobbed in Jesus because he didn't get any wine at the last supper?
Me: Reeaally? That's so rude! I would've been p!ssed off too

I have a bad habit of trying to fit thru narrow areas and then I suck in my stomach to try and fit through (like that'd make any difference at 34 wks pregnant!)

This is just what I needed, I don't know if it is just the hormone making everything so funny, but I have tears streaming down my face!
