This happens to me in early pregnancy too. I 'go off' at such little tings, then i realise and think 'oh that was weird' lol. Ive noticed it gets better when u hit 12weeks, think your hormones start to ease off a little.

    Hope this helps

Yep. I was a crazy, manic, hormonal mess for about the first 12 weeks. Even my mother felt sorry for DH! LOL! I had no idea I was pregnant until 6 weeks in, so was very confused about my moods. but they do improve so hang in there!

Oh and congratulations on your pregnancy!

I remember bawling at an ad!! (the WorkSafe school concert one).... I went rushing into DH's study sobbing my heart out. He was like "oh no, what's wrong"... to which I said... "it was a saaaaaad ad!". Well he nearly fell over laughing. Then he looked at me and said "if I pointed at you and said cry, you would". He then pointed at me and said "cry"... so I promptly did! he didn't know whether to be horrified or kack himself laughing!

But i do agree with the others, it does seem to settle a bit after 12 weeks. It's all just such a rollercoaster early on I think, hormones aside, it's a huge thing that's happening, it's not surprising if your emotions are a bit all over the place. Mine sure were! LIke melbourne weather, changed every 5 mins!

    And congrats on the PG!

So glad to hear other people are getting it as bad as me!

DH and I must have had more arguments in the last few weeks than ever. I'm 8 weeks and found out at 4 and a half so I was expecting to be homonal. But it's like beng drunk! You know you're not being yourself but there's nothing you can do about it except wait for it to pass.

My poor DH has really copped the effects of the roller coaster. I feel bad afterwards but there's no telling when something irritable and snappy might come out of my mouth, or when I might get overly sensetive, or when i might just want to bawl for the smallest reason.

Can't wait to get to 12 weeks!

And then it all starts again when the baby gets here and your milk comes in I would just say to M, "I think I need to have a little cry" and i would, then I'd feel better.

I don't remember being that hormonal in first trimester with either - just really tired - but the last couple of weeks of pregnancy, I was SOOO bad tempered! Not so much with M, but with people I didn't even know! Kind of funny, because normally I'm not like that at all, but in the week before S was born, I was very rude to an overseas telemarketer and told a drunk guy off for provoking my dog while we were out walking. (I was walking with the dog, not the drunk guy, just to clarify). The great thing is, at least you can blame the hormones!
