Yarra, I'm glad to hear she's doing well now. I hope you get that good long cuddle today!

Miss M, congratulations! I was very bloated at the beginning too and it went away around the 10wk mark, so you may find your waistline goes up and down a bit until you start getting a proper bump. I was lucky that the maternity pants I bought for work could actually be adjusted in when the bloating went away or I'd have been in trouble. I've bought my maternity clothes new (I never buy many clothes so I figured I could splurge, plus I've not bought that many because it's hard to find anything that works for me) so I can't help on the 2nd hand options.

Thanks for the advice juniper I will have to look around - stretchy skirts might be the way to go until winter then

I would love to join this thread as well! I am 4 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. I am about 120kg and 180cm tall (I think). With my last baby I lost about 7kg during pregnancy due to the constant throwing up lol

Congratulations on your BFP melcur! Hopefully this time you can do as well with your weight but skip the throwing up!

Yarra, I did some browsing at the newsagent while waiting for my lunch order and you look fabulous!

I was the same starting weight as you with both pregnancies (and a tad shorter) and yep...the puking lost me 12kg in 1st pregnancy and so far, 5 in this one. Hyperemisis went undiagnosed last time becuase I assumed it was normal! Got it diagnosed early this time when I got put into hospital for dehydration and the meds hit it on it's head in 3 months!

Think I may be in the same boat...167cm and around the 95kg mark, so clothes are going to get tight pretty quickly!

Just took my 2nd HPT today, and according to calculators online I'm due early-mid September with baby #1 (aka Peanut).

On the positive, I guess I can pretend at work that any extra weight early on is from the recent festive season
