If it was me I would probably be doing the same thing... IMO It's just not worth taking the risk ? for you or your bub. I think your friend will probably understand, especially since she's had children of her own and knows what it's like to be pregnant, and if she doesn't then don't feel bad because it's her problem, you'd just be doing what you think is right by your bub and there is nothing wrong with that.
