DS1 was born late at night so DH rang his parents and my mum was with us so she rang my dad and my brothers, I rang my best friend and then sent sms about 10 hrs later to everyone else. Thats when my BB notification person was told as well. Even thought IOL only my parents, DH mum and my best friend knew i was being induced.
DS2 was a morning so once back in room and we had settled in so probably 3 hrs after birth, DH rang my mum who was at our house with DS1, and his mum and dad. My mum rang my dad and brothers and I rang my best friend and sent out sms to all those I wanted to and then I quickly jumped on FB to find out SIL had allreday posted on my FB page so i was peed off!!!!!! And posted announcment anyway!!! Even thought was a planned CS only my parents and best friend knew the date of cs,
Personally I think its really rude when people post on fb before the person has posted themselves!!
