I wanted mine close together and am thrilled that there will be 20 months between them. I am a little older though so I didn't really have time on my side. Everyone tells me that the first 1 - 2 years is quite hard when they are close, but after that it is great because they get along really well and entertain each other. There are pros and cons either way, I say do whatever works for you.
