Grub - yup, have to sympathise with you. Maybe its a survival mechanism, making sure you keep your fat stores up whilst the baby is tiny so that you are safe to look after him???? But I have been struggling, although luckily didn't put on toooo much. But enough trouble that I can hardly where any of my clothes and can't afford shopping. But just to reassure you; the moment I started running again a few weeks ago, I can feel my body shape changing back and I am just starting to be able to get buttons/zippers done up. Not much weight coming off on the scales, but hopefully because I have gined muscle - well that's what I tell myself anyway hehe). So I think if your body was used to running pre-pregnancy, then once you start again everything will get back to normal.

Hang in there and don't despair. I have had several people tell me that it takes a good 12 months to get back to normal, so even though feels ages away, we need to focus on long-term goals.
