green - i second lenny's comments. what a good mum you are! being a mum means making decisions that are best for baby... and by the sounds of it you've made the right choice. Don't feel guilty at all. Okay, ideally he would be loving the boobie but that is not the case and it's your job to find an alternative that works for you both... and good on MIL for the big hug, I"m sending you one now too love. You should be so proud on what you've achieved and how hard you've worked to get him this far. But neither of you should be full of tears at dinner time oxox

just a quick one here today too. Ash seems happier now i'm not forcing the feeding so much. once he's off and if he's upset i offer again once and when that's refused but the boobies away. But his lunch feed today was only 5 mins... the last min of which he spent looking up at me smiling, sucking, smiling, farting. lol. They are the moments i live for.

BG - i looked up soem wonder week stuff... i really think that may be what's up. he did another huge crying fit last night and promptly passed out once i calmed him. he is also noticing a lot more around him.
