Thanks for all your responses re routines ladies, I must admit i'm feeling a lot better now! I was wondering when I would work out the difference between a hungry, bored, sore tummy, over tired cry etc, and wondering when he might start setting into a more predictable routine. After all, the books say by now he should be in a regular pattern but alas he musn't have read that one! I think i'll be ignoring the books and just going with the flow. One more question though - now that Finn has regained his birth weight we've moved to demand feeding rather than waking him every 3 hours etc. At night he actually goes 6-7 hours without a feed - should I be waking him sooner or just letting him go until he wakes himself for a feed? I'm taking him to the clinic to get weighed again tomorrow but just interested in your thoughts regarding waking him for feeds versus just letting him dictate feeding times...
Kelly - hope you're coping well with your cycle as well as a baby. I know I was emotional enough when I was stimming so wishing you all the very best!
Greenslw - glad that DH is going to be home looking after Linc and you can focus on work without having to stress about other things also
BOC - have you had a lovely weekend at home with JD and DH!
Murph - glad to hear about the Lions club chipping in for Jaz, must be such a relief.
Smithy - hope you have a lovely anniversary with DH
Marcellus - thanks for the tips. I think i'm going to call ABA as even with the nipple shields (which are indeed a nuisance!!) my boobs are still hurting half the time so think we might still be having some attachment issues or something...
Big hello to everyone else and apologies for the lack of persies. Finn has decided it's feeding time again so my computer time has come to an abrupt end. Hope everyone is well xx
