oh murph! the joys of FNQ living. I thought they fixed that road so you didn't have to take the barge anymore! big hugs for you and i admire your calm thoughts... hold onto those... like you said, you can't control it so why stress over it. the only thing you can control is your reaction.

I've been really trying to let go and not be such a control freak. it feels great to just accept and go "okay, we'll move on from that now. that's done". big hugs for you and bub! and glad the day wasn't wasted, saved by shopping!

MHB - you are a natural worrier aren't you! lol. I can highly recommend murph's advice - just take it as it comes, accept the joy of the moment that you're in and deal with any catastrophes when and if they happen. no point wasting energy worrying about things you have no say in! i'm sure it'll all be good for you. big hugs. oxox

hi two mums and kaydee, great to hear from you Miss i-love-morning-teas Magpie! ox

hi mumma neptune..... i actually looked at it and thought, holy begesus, something that size is coming out of where???? dh held the little outift up to my stomach, we sort of moved it around a bit trying to figure how it was going to fit in there! lol. but everytime i go to the nursery (no longer spare room, only referred to as babys room or nursery from now on) i get it out and just giggle in delight! is that crazy. But that really has just encapsulated all my pent up excitedness and glee of the whole situation.

kellyD how did your scan go???

Hi to all the other girls on the thread and watching from the sidelines.

afm: went for a swim this morning like a good mumma. still feeling a bit ill but think the first trimester sickness is slowly waning. have more energy although still tired.
