Congratulations to BDT....twin girls how exciting. And I completely agree with CPie try not to take family's reaction to heart, I'm positive they will have a change of mind when they see those beautiful babies, they are healthy that's the most important thing.

Your turn next Smithy, can't wait to hear your news too. How exciting that you are feeling movements...yay!

I hope you don't mind me coming in girls, I know I don't belong here but just had to congratulate BDT on her fantastic news.

Hey girls - have been lingering in the background - still sick - but think it is easing back now.

Congrats on everyone having bubs - I haven't been on here since the last thread.

Saph - just wanted to let you know one of my friends has had to wear a brace for her last 2 pregnancies - however her last pregnancy she also physio for it too and apparently made a world of difference

    Hi Girls

Just a quick one from me... Still waiting to get my c/s date organised, my OB is going to be on holidays when the c/s will need to happen so I am getting booked in with another OB. Only good thing is the other OB is one that I dealt with previously at the FS and he actually did the surgery for my ectopic in Dec 08 and was actually the OB I originally wanted to go with but he was fully booked with deliveries. So appears I have ended up going full circle, just now waiting to hear from the clinic what date can be origanised but it will definately be the week of the 12/10 unless she decides to come earlier seeing as she has now dropped even lower into my pelvis. Will let you all know when the date has been organised.

Take care of all those bundles cooking away.

    Hi ladies,

Sorry i have been MIA again!!!!!!

M+H+B - congratulations - sorry to hear the birth wasn't everything you desired but hey still a great outcome!!!! How is the liver thing going?

BDT - YEAH..... TWIN GIRLS.... All those lovely clothes and getting to have a really girly nursery and my god DH will get over it - two daddies girls i bet! I'm 1 of 3 girls and my dad wouldn't have it any other way! Ignore all others you are truly blessed and there is so many other things to concentrate on like resting!

To all of you who are getting close i'm sending up lots of and to everyone else i hope your all treating yourselves well and RESTING! Sorry no personnals.

AFM - DH away atm and i'm missing him like crazy! I'm getting very big - tipped over 90kg on the scales today but it's all babies (well most of it is!!) The boys are kicking and moving alot - one kicks and moves up high the other feels like he is going to drop out! I have my next scan and appt friday including bloods and urine tests - last scan was great only 10% growth difference now so it stays minimal. I feel great just resting and relaxing and hoping i don't end up in hospital like everyone else in my twins thread

Take care lovely ladies and be extra nice to yourselves...

    Hi Bella,
look after yourself and I really hope you don't end up in hospital with your twinnies thread girls too. for a while there, I was imagining all the twin thread girls tucked up in the same cyber ward, hanging out in hospy together. I just wanted to tell you about a friend of mine who gained 30kg with both of her babies from fluid retention (both bubs born years apart and singletons). She was fit and healthy and lifestyle played no part, it's just what your body decides. 15 kg came off the minute the babies were born, the rest through breast feeding and lifestyle. The babies were good sizes but not huge, 8 and 9 pounds. A year on and she is looking gorgeous and healthy. It's only a small window of time in the big picture so don't be too concerned about tipping the scales. I'm at the opposite end and I'm not petite but I'm just not gaining and have to rest every day for Jazzy to grow, so it makes you feel like you're not doing enough or you did something, worked too hard early in the pg, missed some crucial growth thing...you know all that mother guilt I've reached a whopping 5 kilo weight gain in 7 1/2 months and get the comments now, "oh you're starting to show". It's come as a bit of an anticlimax I must admit to have the comments starting now, it's like, well I bloody well hope so!! Anyway, so big or small, we all get there and our babies can surprise us by coming out small when we're big or big when we're small. I think I'm hiding a 10 pounder between these child-bearing hips of mine

    All the best.xoxo

    Good afternoon girls,

    Firstly..............

CONGRATULATIONS MHB! You poor thing, you've had such a rough time! Sorry to hear the birth didnt go well. Hope bubs is putting on weight and Im sure its a HUGE relief to finally meet him and hold him in your arms. Take care xx

BDT - WOO HOO, congrats on your pink bundles, thats GREAT NEWS Some people can be so insensitive and mean. Who cares what you have, as long as they are healthy and arrive safely. My DP also wants a boy, again the whole "carrying on the family name" but he says as long as its healthy is all that matters

Jen - thinking of you and your little ones. Cant wait to hear from you!

Kelly - hopefully my beloved PIES will bounce back this week, hehe Just bought my tickets this morning for Saturday night actually Look forward to hearing the date of when your bubs is being delivered

to Murph, Grub, BOC, Smithy and everyone else.

AFM, saw my OB yesterday and my BP has come down a little so he is pleased with that and so am I Still have to stay on my medication. No protein in my urine either. I am starting to swell a bit and am getting very tired so he has told me to cut back to a 4 day week which I told my boss so we are going to arrange that as of next week. Looking forward to that as I am out for 11 hrs a day from when I leave home until I come home so VERY tiring. Had a swab "down there" yesterday as well to check for infection. Start our ante-natal classes tonight which Im looking forward to.

    Take care all,

    Tania
