Hi Bella,
look after yourself and I really hope you don't end up in hospital with your twinnies thread girls too. for a while there, I was imagining all the twin thread girls tucked up in the same cyber ward, hanging out in hospy together. I just wanted to tell you about a friend of mine who gained 30kg with both of her babies from fluid retention (both bubs born years apart and singletons). She was fit and healthy and lifestyle played no part, it's just what your body decides. 15 kg came off the minute the babies were born, the rest through breast feeding and lifestyle. The babies were good sizes but not huge, 8 and 9 pounds. A year on and she is looking gorgeous and healthy. It's only a small window of time in the big picture so don't be too concerned about tipping the scales. I'm at the opposite end and I'm not petite but I'm just not gaining and have to rest every day for Jazzy to grow, so it makes you feel like you're not doing enough or you did something, worked too hard early in the pg, missed some crucial growth thing...you know all that mother guilt I've reached a whopping 5 kilo weight gain in 7 1/2 months and get the comments now, "oh you're starting to show". It's come as a bit of an anticlimax I must admit to have the comments starting now, it's like, well I bloody well hope so!! Anyway, so big or small, we all get there and our babies can surprise us by coming out small when we're big or big when we're small. I think I'm hiding a 10 pounder between these child-bearing hips of mine

All the best.xoxo
