Happy Happy News,
Our healthy baby boy, JETT DIMITRIOS, was born on Tuesday 3rd June 2008 at 4.11pm weighing 7lb 12oz. Baby Jett had jaundice but now home and doing excellent. He is too cute. We cant stop kissing his soft face. He has his dad's good looks and beautiful nature and his mums hair and lips. Daddy says someday he will be a fisherman. Mummy's just happy that he's here.
Im ok after a horrendous birth experiance. Baby laying transverse, did not turn and had to be turned with forceps and delivered. Was on operating table with epi-block for an emergency c-section but we got him round the right way.
Im living of 3-4hrs sleep per 24hrs but surviving, knowing its all worth it. Just came back from an emergency visit to the hospital with a gaping wound after episiotomy as stitches have all burst open. Lots of pain but OB is now letting it heal naturally (it will take longer but they cant sew it up again ewwwwww).
DH has been my rock, my breathe and my everything. I am totally surprised at how he has been so involved. Came home to a spotless house and he hasnt sat down since. He is an active father settling baby Jett, bathing and burping him. I only feed which is feeling a bit mundane but I am happy DH wants to be so involved before he goes back to work. I dread that day.
Staff at hospital may as well have not been there and I will never go back there. Im disgusted at the treatment I and other patients were given especially when it is suppose to be a "nice" time.
All in all, it has been the most amazing, loving experiance of my life. DH & Baby Jett bring me to tears when I think about how much love has been involved between the three of us this past week. It is so beautiful to have our little family we thought we would never have. I am blessed and grateful and overwhelmed that we finally made it.
I would like to thank ALL of you for being here during my journey for the good, the bad and the ugly. My DH thanks you all for being here as my support network for understanding and knowledge.
There is a God and we now know him well.
