And glad to hear you're healing up well Monnie - those gel thingies are expensive hey? I've used one before (actually didn't really need it, was just in case). They seem pretty good though.

Glad to hear your scan went well Nic. Too bad about your doctor, hope you get a good replacement.

Hope no more issues with donating your embryos ltl panda - they should really try and make it easier, you'd think. It's been warm here too. thought i was going to pass out the other day driving around in 39 degrees (no air-con in car...). gah. best just stay at home

Sage may be having a hard time, but he's lucky to have such loving parents! Really hope things get better for him - poor little tyke.

Ltl Panda - wow on the embryo. I recall you first mentioning it in here and i was blown away at the enormity of such a gift. I didn't realise it would actually happen so fast, I hope for the couples sake things go well.

Ktgirl - hold in there mate, i know m/s can last, but my fingers are crossed that it gives you some relief soon

Lenny - congrats on finishing the final exam...i only have a week to go of residential school (which is next week) with 2 mini assessments due during the week and then its over!!! You must feel great, particularly being able to focus more on other things now

Marcellous, yeah our little girl's still rockin' away. We can actually feel exactly where she is now and were playing with her last night. DH said i was provoking her though i prefer to think of it as playing. LOL. And I guess its fair to say we're not too worried about her HB concerns just yet, like Panda said, it's common for scans at 32weeks. How are you doing??

Well, DH and i are off to Batemans Bay for the weekend with his brother, wife and their 2 little ones, so i'm both nervous and excited about the whole going to the beach with the pg body look, but soooooooo looking forward to a night away. Hi to everyone, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

LOL at Felix squirting you. Sage does the same thing at times but I've learnt to keep him covered lol. He actually got the dog the other day and the look on his face was priceless(the dogs face that is)

Our appointment went really well today. Sage decided he knew what to do as soon as we went into the room lol. So the nurse was very impressed and she kept telling me that I was doing a fantastic job considering all we've been through. Its very nice to be told these things every now and then cause I do find myself doubting this at times as I'm sure is all very normal as a 1st time mum.

We also got the results of the blood test from yesterday and the level of jaundice is up a little sice we were in hospital so we need to get another test done next week to see how things are going.

I have a feeling that Jo may have had her little princess. Does anyone else feel the same????

Kimbe Enjoy your weekend away hun. Don't worry about the pregnant body on the beach lol. I'm sure you look beautiful

I thought I'd better jump in now re a BALTTTC thread. This suggestion has been made to the moderators on a few occasions previously, the first being when I used to inhabit this thread myself, not long after it was first started.

One of the reasons we don't have a baby buddies for LTers is that if we did one for you, we would have to for the Clomid girls, the M/C girls, the Late Loss girls... etc. You get my point.

Another reason is that we do believe, esp the mods who have been LTers before, that an LT mum has no different challenges than a mum who conceives naturally, once baby arrives. While you may not have mixed with the regular belly buddies during your pg because of the unique issues associated with being a pg LTer, we believe it's the right time to assimilate with your respective baby buddies group after the birth, as it becomes less about you and more about your baby in your posts. This is the time when you should be exposed to mums of all shapes, sizes and circumstance, as well as be able to talk to mums who have babies of the same age as yours. In a BALTTTC thread, you would have mums of babies of different ages, and this serves no real purpose except to keep you together.

We know it's hard to leave those familiar to you behind. I kept in touch with the people who were here with me for a long time after we all had our babies, and I often popped in to post here and there (as you girls sometimes do in the LTTTC forums) but in time you do move on. There is support for you out there once your baby arrives, and yes, even more friends to make. It may seem like we're being arbitrary in our decision but it's been discussed many times before, and we agree that we won't start baby buddy groups that extend from specific forums, mainly for the reasons stated above.

Well ladies sorry I haven't been on for awhile but you know I just had to go have a BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's right she was 2 weeks early & she is beautiful (of course).

As you know my birthday was on the 6th Nov & then the next day I lost my mucous plug & that night started getting contractions (not b/hicks these ones hurt) they went all through the night so I did not sleep at all.
I phoned hospital & they said have a bath because it was too early to come in so here I am having a bath at 3.30 in the morning & spent about 2 hours in there, boy was I wrinkly.

About 7.00 in morning I put my tens machine on & then finally we went to hospital at 4.00 in arvo.
I saw quite a young nurse who said I was 7cm dilated but when my dr came at 7.00pm he said I was only 4cm dilated so that was very disapointing but I should have known because I was coping well with the pain.

Dr broke waters at 7.00pm & then the pain really kicked in, I wont tell you girls how bad it was (unless you want to know) but needless to say my little princess was born Friday morning at 12.58 the 9th November.

I should mention I did have a vaginal birth with no stitches but I have bad grazing which I'm not sure why they call it grazing because it basically has torn so sitting down is quite an effort, sorry if tmi.

She weighed 7lb 1oz (that was plenty big enough thank you) 49cm length & she has lots of black hair which could explain my reflux.
We named her Jenna Maree.

Mako - I can't find anything to fit her so I don't know how you've managed with Sage & I read something about him having plaster on his legs, what happened ( I don't have time atm to go through all the posts.)

I will catch up again & let you know how we are going as soon as I can & I hope that everyone is feeling wonderful.

Me - well I had good news not suffering from gest diabetes just pregnant and narotic, so nothing knew there then. And I am growing nicely, all nausea has now subsided , and things are starting to move fast. I only have 4 weeks till the next ultrasound and 1st hospital appointment and we find out what were having OMG!!! And I have been getting twinges more often than before, I guess its due to the uterus stretching but Im getting excited about a little movement down below....I'll keep you posted.

Mako, I'm sure you're the only person besides DH to ever describe me as sweet.. must just be because you don't really know me . Anyway, sounds to me like you're doing just fine with Sage, despite all the problems.

Good news on your test results lismith. it does go really fast, doesn't it?

And yay on the rockin baby Kimbe. I'm always poking our little guy and then he kicks me. It's our game - I call it 'poke-and-kick'. I'm sure he likes it...right? we were trying to guage his reaction to names by seeing which ones he'd kick for - we only got a reaction for my brother's name (potential middle name) and when dave said something was 'great'. So, i guess he wants to be called peter the great...

I'm tired. just back from second day of weekend workshop for hypnobirthing. was really good - very glad we did it.

7 months tomorrow, 20 day to go until by baby shower, hosted my sisters yesterday and that was lovely. 25 days to go and we are off to Byron Bay for 7 days.
Had our second antenatal class yesterday and that was on breast feeding, lets just say I thought it was easier, it was just a matter of just flopping it out and hope for the best…well was I not disappointed and now worried.

Hi all, hope you had a fun filled weekend. Sydney and the South Coast had such wonderful weather, i hope it spread across the country to all of you! Am feeling great at the moment, I didn't hesitate showing off the bikini belly whilst we were away and actually felt completely comfortable in my own skin!

DJ - Congrat's on the arrival of 'Jenna' (DH & I love the name, it was top of DH's list, so now he's cranky that someone's beat us to it - even though he got it from someone else in the first place LOL). I bet she is just a bundle of absolute pleasure. Am really impressed on the natural birthing too - i just always assumed stitches and tearing was the go...not that the 'grazes' sounds any good.

Ltl Panda, can't believe you're 7 months now, wow that has gone so fast hasn't it

Lis really glad for you that the GB hasn't reared it's ugly head and that it is just the pg for you. We're all neurotic in here about things and you know if we weren't about some things, then i think we'd have reason to really worry.

Firstly, CONGRATULATIONS JO on the arrival of the lovely Jenna!!!!!! So happy for you.
I know what you girls mean about playing with your belly as I do that too. I also press a lot to work out which side s/he is on and DH always gives me a hard time about it but I say "you should see what the GP does to him/her!" I think our bub doesnt like the way I sit at the computer cause I get heaps of activity then.
So glad you havent developed GD Lismith. Must be a weight off your mind! My friend has it and has been sick the whole time poor thing.
Kimbe, good for you in the bikini girl!!! I cant be seen in one at the best of times unfortunately but I do have a tankini which I donned for my couple of aqua aerobics lessons. I am thinking of going to the pool again now that they have opened the outdoor one here but I am a lot bigger now!!! Not worried about the belly so much as the thighs lol!
Ltlpanda, how was it holding your sisters baby shower knowing you will be having one soon yourself?? My best friend is doing one for me on the sunday after next and I am kinda looking forward to it. I always enjoy everyone elses but it is a bit different when you are the "victim" lol.

Hi to everyone else! I havent been on much for a while but am hoping to be more dedicated when my work finishes next week. I only have 2 more days this week and then one next week and that is it for me! Hooray! I will miss it but it is too hard being on my feet on hard floors for 7 hours on my own!!! I am going to rest, rest, rest while I still can!

Hi all,

I'm afraid my posts are going to be few & far between for awhile as life is very busy I constantly have my boobs out feeding & I think everyone I know has seen them by now, lol.

Ltl Panda - I thought b/feeding was easy too but it takes awhile for both bub & mum to get the hang of it & sometimes if bub wants it every 2 hours it's very demanding. (and sore).

I am pretty lucky as Jenna is only waking twice at night, around 1.00 & then 4.30 although it can take awhile to feed & then get back to bed but it is hard as we have had so many visitors that I haven't been able to rest when she is during the day but I'm sure it will settle down soon.

Sorry I can't do personals but I'm just on for a minute because Jenna will be awake soon.

Mako & Monnie - no doubt I'll be asking for advice soon enough.

Sage is wearing size 00000's and one little outfit 0000 lol.
He had his legs in plaster as he has Talipes. This is a little problem with his feet but the plaster is off now thank goodness. We still have to do the exercises and go to physio.

Hi Girls

Just a quick one for me, yesterday in the morning I went for a pee, to my shocking horror there was pink all over the tissue, so I wiped again and there it was again…. So I quickly called the midwifes who suggested I go to the hospital…I still do not know what its from, they did an internal check, baby was ok, everything seemed ok, so they think it could be the low lying placenta.
I am not bleeding anymore but I do have a stinging pain before I go to the loo and when I finish, could it be ITI, the doctors made no mention of it.
I am seeing the midwifes on Friday, so Ill see what they say in regards to the swab results.
Any one else had this problem?

Mako, cannot believe Sage is so little, poor darling….I bet he will have one heck of a growth spurt.

Jo, I am glad you are doing well, especially that you are on the right track with the breast feeding.

Sazzafrazz, I hope you get lots of lovely gifts for your baby shower, I am sure you will, people go nuts over babies.
