    Oh Trish,

Congratulations, my sweet, on the wonderful news! How exciting, the news that you're to be doubly blessed!

Though I completely understand about being anxious. Every single one of us in here can empathise. I don't think you ever stop being anxious when your baby is so wanted and desired. The sparkly straight jackets in here are for all to use, you know! Don't ever feel like you can't be completely neurotic here, we've all been there!

Humphrey, you're next cab off the rank for a scan, so good luck for this Monday!

    love

Trish, a big YAY for getting a wonderful scan result and a bigger YAY for you being blessed with twins. I can't even imagine how worrying pg will be for you, but we are all cheering you on and will try help you keep positive. Imagine - in July you will have your very own pair of squidgy squirmy delicious bubs!

Humphrey, good luck for your scan on Monday! Is there any chance of another 'twins' announcement????

Amy, you'll love seeing your bub again, you'll be shocked at how big he will be. At my scan DH and I saw bub holding his foot and playing with it, it was just so cute!

Tiff, hope you get a chance to pop in again (with piccies!) and let us know how big Ivy and Noah are now.

Trish - Yay, congrats on your little twosome!

Tiff- Glad that all is going along nicely. Have they given you any indication of a timeframe to be going home yet? I had a tour of the special care nursery in the hospital after my twin class on Wednesday, i could not believe how big it was and how many babies were in there. It all looked really nice and cheerful. I hope you are in the same kind of environment.

Well, as mentioned had my twin class on Wednesday and met some other twin mums. it was nice to talk about our different experiences with the pregnancy and if we had any strategies in coping afterwards ha....ha! i finally joined AMBA as there was a rep there from the hospitals most local one. Came away with a stack of reading as well. Well worth the time if it is offered to others.

Had my ob appt this morning and all is going along fine. I don't have to go back to see him until 35/6 weeks \/ However still have to see my doctor every two weeks. i am very happy about not having to do all that driving. He also asked me if I preferred to deliver a la natural, and of course I agreed, if possible. Atm, he sees no reason why not, so I am doubly happy about that as well. I'm starting to feel a lot calmer about everything, and of course I only have one more week before i hit the magic 30 weeks, so that is a relief also.

    Trish YAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So happy and relieved to read your excellent news!!

Humphrey - hope everything goes equally well for you!

Jo - congrats also on being almost at that 30 week mark and I'm glad you are feeling better about everything. Sounds as if it is all going well. I can't believe how fast some of these pregnancies have gone (including mine).

Hope all you lovely ladies are travelling well and looking forward to Christmas.

    Love,

    Mel

Trish, congratulations on the twins, and Melbo I loved your story so much. Maybe I'm strange but I love getting in here and reading all your stories and seeing all your big fat bellies (and I mean that in a nice way!). Gab, I can't remember if I already told you or not but Tomas is absolutely gorgeous and I couldn't stop laughing at the photo of him drunk on milk All the best to all of you for Christmas and I hope Santa brings lots of presents!

welcome Amanda - good to see you back on BB

    Humphrey - goodluck for Monday's u/s

Ladies - thank you for the congratulations

Sushee - thanks for the offer of the lovely sparkly jacket - what other accessories do they come with ... I can't wait to get my dopplar -what is the earliest you hear with one

Shazz - have a great holiday

JO - glad you travelling will ease and all is going well for you -the twin class sounds a great idea.

Sal - you are so close to holding your precious bub

    thanks Sam for adding me

I have my first OB appointment at High Risk clinic next Wednesday with the 'Professor' - and if he thinks necessary - I will see the Renal specialist same day - I had early high BP with Charlotte ( I think whitecoat -at home it was okay) and another specialist had me on medication which OB later stopped - because BP was low and ok ?

I am going thru public hospital because I have to go there with twins (in case of prem) and my history I only rang yesterday afternoon and they gave me appointment Wednesday 21st 9.30am - yay the wonderful lady ? and I didn't even ask for appointments before Christmas). I will find out Wednesday if there is a benefit seeing an OB privately too.

I need to check if private health fund covers the dopplar - if so I will ask my GP for letter to say I need it for my sanity.

Trish - Thats great that they got you in before chrissy!

    welcome Amanda.

Humphrey - Loads of good wishes for tomorrow!

i have finally sorted the nursery out and packed the babies bag......well, nearly anyway. Just waiting for the cradles to put in it. My mum is painting Jack's old one as it was looking rather shabby and needed a tidy up and a friend is lending us hers. I should have them both by boxing day \/

Now there is only Jacks bag to go.................

Oh, and I should be getting my new car by the end of the week \/

Hope everyone has had a good w/end!

    Hi all,

humphrey good luck for the scan tomorrow.

Jo, excellent news about getting all organised. I am impressed! Sounds like you're ready to go and that can't be a bad thing with twins expected!

As for me, DH and I went to a baby shop n Saturday. I almost fainted when he suggested it! We've chosen the pram (Bertini Shuttle Sport), the cot and the dresser/change table we want, and I'll go back after Christmas to put them on layby until after the carpets are in. On the way home, I told him about how my mum said we should wait until I was at least 7 months and he said, "We can't wait until the last minute, you know!" I tried not to laugh!

I've also put in an order online for some baby skin care - Aromababy stuff - and am now looking for a capsule as well. I am thinking of a Babylove Primo 6 in 1 from Ebay.

So see, I did break the seal after all! Lol!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and am not as hot where you are as we are here in WA. Christmas in only a week away!

    love

    Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you know that I have put a photo of Ivy and Noah up on the website. I still have to put their birth photos on and of course, I'll put more up but haven't taken photos for a while. Noah looks much better now that he has been cleaned up properly. We moved to a smaller unit yesterday, away from the big hospital as it cuts our travel time in half. Ivy and Noah a re going well, they have their weigh in tomorrow, hoping we can move up to two attempts at BF. Noah finally gave up his CPAP after the fifth attempt and is grading out into a cot now. Will hopefully be there tomorrow and we can kiss the humidicrib goodbye!

Hope you are all well, Sush, glad to hear that you are finally shopping for baby!

    Hi Girls,

Firstly, Amanda ... welcome and congratulations! Hope everything goes well for you.

Oh Tiff, the babies look wonderful. So exquisite too. This must feel like the best Christmas present ever! Glad to hear you are all continuing on the get well trail.

Sushee - I'm relieved you can start shopping. It's only fair! Looks like DH is starting to relax a bit which is good news. It's fun looking at baby stuff isn't it?

Trish - Hope you are going all right my sweet and not feeling too ill. May those little loves of yours go from strength to strength.

Jo - it's all happening at your place by the sound of it. There's nothing like getting it all happening is there? Makes you feel gooooood ...

Humphrey - good luck for that scan pet. We'll all be waiting here to hear your news.

Well Sush, is roasting in WA but we've regressed to winter here in Melbourne for some reason. Could this be a White Christmas? Maybe DH will get his wish after all!

Also had a stroke of luck ... a friend left me some baby things including a bassinet, cot, pram and about a million clothes which I'm sorting through at the moment. Looks like all we might have to get is a chest of drawers and a mattress and then we'll be set. I'm feeling pretty fortunate.

Had a touch of asthma yesterday and last night but I think it's just the weather change. Actually had to use the Ventolin which is the first time in ages. It's much better this morning but I feel a bit hungover for want of a better word. Luckily I only have to work two days this week.

Hope you are all well and have a great week. Talk soon.

Tiff, great pics of Ivy and Noah, they look contented (and not nearly as small as my imagination had them!) and very cute. Great that you won't have to travel as far to be with them.

Humphrey for today's scan, let us know the good news.

Trish, great that you got an appt so quickly, sounds like you are going to get well looked after this pg.

Mel, hope you're feeling better, asthma whilst pg can't be fun. Not that it's the same at all, but bub presses up against my diaphragm and I have periods of very unpleasant breathlessness, I can only imagine that asthma is like that but of course much worse.

Sush, that is great that you've broken the seal on baby buying stuff! Maybe your DH is now relaxing a bit??!

Tam, how're you doing? I have a feeling that Declan and Ryley are going to be making an appearance pretty soon...

Hi to all, must duck off, am going shopping (but for non-bub stuff, so nothing exciting).

How amazing that this year is nearly over!!!
