Oh my goodness those words are sending a shiver down my spine, a massage table with a hole in it... lying on your front... oh lovely lucky you

ha ha Lise - have been v slack on that front. But you have reminded me and I shall do some tonight! The amount of TV I've been watching recently, I really ought to have knitted a scarf for everyone in the country!!!

I've read a new book (Better Guide to Birth and Bonding) and whilst some of it was really good and things I'll remember (zinc stops PND etc and some of the techniques for birthing without pain relief if you can) some of it had me spitting. It says for example that Queen Victoria was the first woman to have chloroform (total rubbish, she did make it socially acceptable but wasn't the first) and it has lots of dietary advice that they don't also say 'check with your doctor before taking'. Stuff like that bothers me, because if you think it's wrong in one place, how can you rely on the rest of the information?
